Glasgow’s last day till July 10 was yesterday.

From what I understand this should be the best Monroe team in several years.

Jackson Arnett is the new head coach at Glasgow High School. He informed the Rebels at boot camp this morning.

According to the khsaa website Arnett was 3-1 vs Monroe at Barren. Lost his first year to them then won 3 straight.

RPI wise I would think barren and Allen are no brain ers Maybe drop Monroe and pick up an RPI booster?

Just curious. What is Glasgow’s schedule next season?

Arnett was in his early 20’s when he took the barren job. Inherited a 1-10 team and had first winning season in 15-20 years in his third year. I wouldn’t call that doing nothing. And being familiar with the Boyle co program I can assure you that if you’re not getting it done there you won’t stay long. I totally agree that Griffin is a fine candidate and has done a great job. But he’s also never coached against the competition Boyle plays and also never been in to a championship game. There’s a huge difference in winning a region and a state championship.

There is none. Its a pointless rule that slows down the flow of the game and causes players to leave the field unnecessarily.

Did they find a game to replace Danville?

Why has Tyler Ray's name not been mentioned? Obviously has a winning pedigree. Been apart of an explosive offense at Boyle. Would be a great candidate to consider imo.

Barren I’m sure is looking to make a “splash” hire. IMO the best they can do is get a young coach looking for his first job. They did that with Jackson Arnett a few years back. He had some success and moved on to Boyle County when he got the opportunity. Seems like that has worked out pretty well for him.

Could go either way. Giving a slight edge to Glasgow at home.

This one is a toss up. I’ll go with Glasgow by a td or less in a low scoring game.

Hard to see Glasgow losing this one. I’ll take the Scotties 35-21
