i agree Tilghman's loss should put them behind Bell....Although with the QB only playing a quarter and a half due to a concussion the previous week i would understand this ranking...Plus Mayfield could beat most 5A schools this year. Tilghman rebounds this week against Graves and starts to figure things out offensively and solidifies their #2 ranking

There will be a game the second week involving Paducah Tilghman and Evensville Reitz which i believe have won several state titles in Indiana. Its the bowl series in Louisville which i believe X will be playing a Tenn. team. Goodpasture or Riverdale i believe. Also on the slate is Byrnes SC. should be a good day of football at Papa Johns stadium.:banana:

Pats played a very physical game. Hats off to them. Lone Oak just made too many mistakes but left it all on the field. LO will be hard to beat next year, ACS might not get past Western. The Boards kid is a beast though.

Dont underestimate the Flash..More balanced than they ever have been and won by 3 over a very good Franklin Simpson team despite having 6 turnovers. 3 inside the opponents 10 yd line. They deffinately had a case of butterfingers last friday. If they hold on to the ball i say LO by a field goal. ACS has no kicking game and that will be the difference. IMHO- 38-35 Lone Oak.......

Yes his name is jack coorts.He reguarly can hit from 55 yds. and was an all state kicker last year.I also belive he holds the state records for most points scored.

Dont forget that coach Duncan coached at LO in the spread system that Caldwell runs.He knows the system like the back of his hand.It will be hard pressed for Caldwell to score a touchdown offensively. My prediction is going to be 42-7. Could be wrong but we will see.

Thats really all they have working for them..Lets put it this way ....Caldwell beat em and the Flash beat Caldwell 55-7. I think that the Flash will handle them and win district.LO will not face anymore real comp until the playoffs and then the first round should be easy.After that im nervous.....

Lone Oak does not run the score up.Last year there were 2 games that the jv didnt go in at halftime.We never hung 70 on anybody.

You mean last week right/ Anyway i believe that the flash will hang 50 and a running clock this week. Too much buzz this week questioning there ability or focus. They will pound the ball at will.Plus its Calloway.........Coach McKeel once said in a televised interview that" LO was the doormat of the district."That alone is enough for there to be bad blood.

Defense is better tthan last year i think...Offense is struggling and i have already adressed this problem in other posts....virtually the same receiving core....bigger o line......RB is young but very good...That just leaves one position that is not clicking with the rest...And yes the Flash are 6-1 but have played terrible comp this year. green County was the best team we have played and they are not really very good. Let them hang around too long and give them life...Green fought hard but in no way should they have been close..Watch the film on ihigh..Wide open receivers all night long..Not getting the crispness out of the offense that the flash are used too and sustaining drives that keep your defense fresh and the other teams offense off the field is probably the single biggest problam right now.

Good game Green but things like this have been going on in GC since i was playing back in the late 80's......It should have never been that close.LO has the talent just like they did last year just are not in sync.
