  1. Watched a varsity game friday night and the QB rolled out to the right side outside the tackle box, threw the ball past the first down marker. But out of bounds. Result was intentional grounding and loss of down. Was this correct? I thought the rule was as long as the QB was outside the tackle box and threw it past the line of scrimmage then it was a legal play......Help.
  2. Heath will not score on the Oakers. LO 56-0. Sad but LO is only using Heath to tune up for the playoffs.
  3. You are correct Westsider, but also understand that PT has made 2nd half adjustments like crazy in most games and put up a ton of points in the second half this year....LO,Heath,Fort Campbell,Clarksville, so forth. So its not out of the way to say that Presnells absence from the second half of that game made a HUGE impact on how that one turned out. Either way PT lost and it is what it is. JMHO
  4. Also the starting QB was out for almost 3 qrts of that game due to concussion the week before for PT. If you have seen them play this year the O is a different animal with him under center. Probably a very underestimated senior QB. over 1000 yards passing and double digit td's in an offense that throws it on average 14 times a game.
  5. i think just the JV will go to Webster co. The varsity will practice that night.
  6. Congrats from Paducah!!! Cant wait to play the Falcons again!!! You guys are a class act and im sure the next game at PT will be another defensive battle.
  7. correction...PT's QB got hurt against Reitz and then tried to play against Mayfield but clearly was not his self so he got pulled halfway thru the 2nd. From all accounts he was glassy eyed and not totally coherant in the first quarter. Jacksons hit on him made things a little fuzzy all over again. They were without 6 starters for the Graves game. Mayfield has a great team and probably would have beaten PT that night but i venture to say it would have been a lot closer had PT been healthy..

  10. As healthy as a team cann be 6 games into the season. Little dings thats all i believe.
  11. Why do you think Bell could handle Central and not PT? Or FC for that matter. PT has played a way harder schedule than Bell and also has way more speed than Bell. Just wondering your reasoning , thats all.
  12. They are just now getting the running game going. Changes to scheme and working more than 6 backs in the running game has taken about 4 games to find some good combinations. The schedule was tough early on which is why some people would look at this being the case. But anyone who has watched every game would agree that they have found something in the last couple of games and have 4 or 5 backs that can get the job done.
  13. might not be a blowout like last year for either team. PT is starting to find their rythym at just the right time. The QB for PT is really starting to manage the game better than any QB since Cantwell. The Running game is sooo deep its scary. And the D well Its as stout as anybody in WK except maybe Mayfield. Should be a good night for PT and a good measuring stick to show us where PT is at. FC-10 PT-21 GO Big Blue!!!
  14. really doesnt need to be a prediction other than the amount of time the varsity plays.....I say 2 qtrs.
  15. Tilghman put up 21 pts in the first 10 min. of the game and the subs started to rotate in. Played all but the first drive of the second half did the jv team. Next up FT. Campbell should decide the district. Saw a lot of improvement from PT since the Mayfield game. Should be a good 1 friday.
  16. Not from Tilghman or Fort Campbells perspective...Or Trigg for that matter. I think they are looking at it like let those guys fight it out and hope that they come in to the 1st district a little tired and road weary, Because they are 2 really well put together teams.
  17. notice how 6 of the top 10 are in the west bracket....Pretty unusual the west is a bear this year.
  18. ahh the joys of 15-18 yr old men trying to be consistent..You got to love high school football!!!!
  19. Home field might be to much for the BJ. But they are going to be fired up for this one. Somerset by 14, lets say 35-21.
  20. Yes the home field advantage sure did help them with Mayfield. It just depends on which PT team shows up, Jeckyl or Hyde....
  21. I still think they need to get better...better at playing as a unit..better at catching the ball..better at blocking on the o-line...better at having the mental toughness to not get 19 penalties in a game..Just dont see this team making it that far if they dont get just better all the way around. JMO. Havent seen Trigg except on film and FC at all but from what is being said FC is big and physical.sooo its a toss up in my estimation.
  22. i am really interested to see who wins this one. With the better team probably winning the top spot in the district if PT doesnt improve.
