Lone Oak gets the screws put to them at end of the game. The clock gets stops to allow Green Co to score in the final 3 seconds. Nonetheless Lone Oak was out of sync. The KHSAA will definetly look close at the film.

Watched the IHigh webcast of this game and Lone Oak literally had this game stolen from them by the clock operator. 4th and goal and the clock stops until Green co comes to the line and scores with 2 seconds left. Clock was stopped for over 10 seconds waiting for Green to line up. I am NO Lone Oak fan, but this is pathetic. :madman:

Green is 2 A ...LO should not have been in that position...didnt score at all in the second half. Good teams find a way to win no matter what....... but yes they got the good ole boy treatment.

Not really surprised by the shady business coming out of Green; have heard other issues coming out of there before.

 

However, there is no reason LO should have let themselves get into that situation. They should have dominated from start to finish.

That's my thinking. Especially when you see that Bell County beat Green County 61-12. Looks like Lone Oak has a lot of work to do.

LIke I said, I'm no Lone Oak fan. It's the way someone would cheat those kids out of a win and keeping an undefeated season alive. Not all wins are pretty, but no way did they deserve that kind of ending.

After viewing the webcast, I must admit the Green County clock operator's actions or his inability to operate the clock was suspicious in my eyes. Also the official crew appeared clueless on the situation. In no way am I taking anything away from the kids on the Green County football team as they played their hearts out. I do think this should be review with the official crew and also the clock keeper.

Wow this one suprises me. Even if LO won the score is what has gotten me. LO must not have the offense that they have had the last 3 years.

Great win for Green County. This was a big shocker...but hey they represented our district well!!!

You'd hate to see Lone Oak lose like that. Lone Oak will be making noise come playoff time though. But I will have to agree with FalconBacker. Lone Oak should have dominated from start to finish.

When you play at Green Co. you should expect things like this to happen...
