Final.

Lone Oak might have the best FG kicker in the state, anyone from Lone Oak know where this young man might go to school. He hit a 46 yarder with ease last night. I think he was 3 for 4 on the night, last name is Coorts, I think. Anyone?

Yes his name is jack coorts. He reguarly can hit from 55 yds. and was an all state kicker last year.I also belive he holds the state records for most points scored.

Coorts kicked the game-winning field goal to beat Warren East in the state semifinals as a freshman, and I know he had a last-second game-winner to beat Calloway County as a sophomore and one in overtime against Lexington Catholic as a junior.

He had some issues in the state championship game, which probably had to do with the fact that he was put in a situation of having to play both offensive and defensive line and was also banged up.
