Redman The first 2 are not blessed with great numbers and typically not great "natural athletes" but they end up making some great football players. I understand and agree somewhat with what Ram is saying. It seems very similar to the Y2K deal at the turn of the century. Lots of unknowns????? Most of the deaths that are occuring from the Swine flu, the victims have some other underlying health problems. But as a coach and administrator the people at Brossart made the right decsion. The student-athlete's well being has to come fist. Hope everyone recovers and the impact on the season and more importantly lives of our citizens of the bluegrass state is limited.

I agree with both of the above. Both are very good coaches also.

Jude is not bad either 64. JC will be OK. I am sure if another QB should be playing Jim would pull the trigger. Ratliff is a heck of an athlete and has played a lot of ball at JC during his time at different postions.

A coaching tale or lesson I always remember is of Phillip Haywood at Belfry. Always known as run, run and more run coach through much of his career and still today. Sometime maybe 97 or 98 with Wright at QB and some smaller lineman went and threw the ball every down and had great sucess at it. My point being the good coaches adapt to what their teams can do. Matney is but it does not mean it is not sucessful. Edge at Owensboro Catholic is another. Throws the crap out of it although they have/and still do had some monster OL and really good backs.

A large majority of their Turnovers were forced by some pretty decent teams.

No they can't IMO either. They have showed nothing to date to make anyone that has seen them think they can hang with JC.

The big sign hanging around Mercer right now is the beat down they took from a very poor Breathit team in the season opener.

This game IMO will not be close. JC RUNS away with it.

I think MCC and KC will be playing for 3rd place in the district. I think right now Rock is playing too good for KC to have a shot at.

This in not a typical Bell team either. Great speed to go along with size and the physical play Bell has always been know for.

Don't assume nothing b/c you know what it makes you. lol It would be a bad match-up for MCC. I was very impressed with Somerset, they completely whipped KC in every facet of the game. BTW nice win for MCC. I think they will stand a very good chance of winning a 1st round playoff game this year on the road in the opposite district.

That is funny b/c nobody lined up in front of #72 most of the night????? Make no mistake HHS is good but lets not get carried away, I think Bell could make it interesting. Look at last year Bell beat Whitley 38-8 and HHS downed them 42 to 16. The Alcoa/Bell score was somewhat misleading.

Boyle easily. You will not win Mr. Football getting less than 15 carries a game. (See Shawn Robbins of Bell Co. in 2004.)

Boy that sounds good. DO you think everyone else would forfeit and let Bell and Boyle play now??? No really still a long way to get there. I hope they both make b/c they are both A#1 football programs and coaching staffs. I am sure the Rock's, Lex Cath's and Knox's still have something to say about it.

It would not suprise me to see him coach another 5-6 year or longer. He has more energy for the game than most of his players. :banana:

LexCath is overrated. Everyone will find out when they play Boyle. Whitley Co. had them kicked to start the season but lost the QB in the 2nd half and ran out of steam. Letton does a great job with what he has but this year is not a typical LexCath team. With that being said still a good win for LO!

Give the coaches a few more weeks then we might challenge all comers. I hear in the new contract year 2011 HHS vs. Bell will be a very possible game. I hope so. I know both sides wanted too this year but could not get it worked out with current games already signed. HHS in the City County would be great! Hilton and Mueller have great respect for each other and talk frequently.

Just speaking from watching Knox/Somerset game earlier in the year and looking at scores as of late that would not be a good matchup.
