It was one of the best high school games I've seen. The Flash proved something tonight. Hats off to the Knights who came storming back to tie it. Looper was great for LO. Lexington's #30 (Ragland?) was awesome.

Good win for the Flash...great game! Offense looked good, little disappointing that our defense allowed a 22 point comeback in the 4th quarter by the Knights who never quit. Our starters finally know what it's like to play 4 quarters. LO has a good chance of running the table in the regular season; must make some adjustments on the defensive side of the ball, especially the secondary. Looper did a fantastic job with both his feet and arms...the line played well on both sides of the ball with the battle won in the trenches. Great kick by Corts in the end to get the win in overtime. Best of luck to the Knights the rest of the season.

Go Lone Oak! I feel that LexCath is a bit down but still a huge win for the Flash.

I am amazed at the offense that the Flash continue to post over the course of the last few years. No more Jamarielle Brown or Corey Robinson, but they still post over 50 a game - 52 against Lex Catholic.

Is Haskins still the coach at Lone Oak?

Lone Oak played very strong ball last night, especially on the offensive side. The Knight pulled out all the stops - a flea flicker, onsides kick and 2 point conversion - to climb out of a 22 point deficiet in the 4th quarter. In OT it came down to field goals.

 

Congrates to Lone Oak who show they will be looking take the 4A crown out west. And to the Knights for another 'never-say-die' performance.

Knights still play man coverage???????? To the death, with no safety sounds like. It works when you are faster than everyone but every once in a while....you get out scored.
