No doubt. They always play hard and get better over the season. Definitely a contender in the 9th.

He is on the team and currently being evaluated. He has missed the last week or so. I hope all goes well and we see him back soon.

Simmer down. Nobody on here is doubting the talent. Glad to hear that a key cog was missing. We get to hear it from the tree tops about DA and sometimes forgotten is PC. I hope for one that he gets all that comes with the attention that some are asking for. He is a sensational Soph but enjoy it for most these years go way to fast!

. We sure hope so! Still have to find ways to win, this one credit Holmes for being in relevant games and knowing how to win. HHS will compete and I truly believe we are seeing a program in transition.

Sounds like a good game. HC might be like HHS this year. A little underrated but should compete with most.

50 of the team 67 is concerning in reference to supporting cast. I expected both stars to score well.

Finfrock had a monster game 20+ and I would venture close to 20 rebounds. LaFrange had 10 points and 12 or so rebounds and all his points came in the first 10 minutes and then got Hollis the rest of the game for a tail. To many turnovers for the Birds; however Holmes plays defense very well. Holmes Green much improved. They got to the rim to easy. However I did state don't sleep on these birds as they were up 9 in the third with a few tired seniors, Holmes made a big run when starters went to bench. A nice first game for both.

My Son had an opportunity to play with Ohmer at an event and came back with man can he play. Thanks for making him work in the off season. What gets lost in the opinions of others is the mutual respect that these athletes have for one another. One might be a better major prospect but you have to love work ethic and getting better at your craft.

I heard that as well. Glad he is giving back. A poor man rebounder. King of effort, the boys will do well with him.

I am confused? 6 -7th graders returning to the Red Devils next year in the senior division that lives in Ft Thomas. Personally I like the decision by Jr football to join the league. They represented very well. No doubt with some of those athletes on 1 team it would have been tough W for sure. My opinion more playing higher caliber of ball the better the players that feed. Question is Fort Thomas able to field two teams next year in the Sr division. I believe the numbers are low in the 7th grade?

I think around 5 or 6 and another 6 with Highlands ties returning as 8th graders next year. On a side note, great game by both squads! Fun atmosphere with a great crowd. Treated to some good football.

Post of the year! To compete you have to block, tackle and be in the right position. You can wear no cleats if you protect your end on the wide side of the field. Taylor moves up to LB a start. Coaches let me help look at the second half film on Dunn. He almost gave a safety on a missed block and then he went to work!! Kudus to finding Huber in the middle with double team over the top on Nick and bringing back the wheel. I have been calling for it the last two weeks. Fix the defense!!

I have no problem with teams 1-6; however can somebody please clue me in on who returns for teams 7-10? I know summer ball is just that, but HHS returns Posey, Finfrock and LaFrange with plenty of varsity starts and throw in a healthy Greene and Traylor return from Florida and Noe going basketball only and they are going to surprise some folks. IMO they are much stronger than clubs 7-10. Time will tell.

If you do not load the box on a team that does not pass you should get beat by 20. Football 101 even for Mom's. I hate to think what JC would do to these team with that run game.

Side note hands on head looking to heaven is not helping. Old Bird I stated that this season was coming at least two years ago, but 1-6 losing district games without Jimmy and Joe aided by sad angles, poor adjustments, and beaten by the jet sweep come on. We just don't out execute anymore.

No defense penetration and who is coaching the LB's these days? Strong safety leading the team in tackles by a landslide. Some position coach changes need made or BW could land in the stands.
