I think Holy Cross had it as close as 5 with 5:00 to go but couldn't get any closer.

Holy Cross was definitely better than expected. Once their football players get back in the groove they will give a lot of teams fits. Cooper really looked sluggish on offense and never seemed to have a good flow to it. Only the first game and both teams will only get better. Heck, the only reason that these games are played is to hopefully be peaking at tournament time when the games count.

I am sure both will get more acclimated with the offense as they shake off the football rust.

Plan is to work them back in slowly. Will be nice to get both back to full strength soon since they are 2 starters and will be key players for this year's Holy Cross team.

 

Best of luck to Cooper. Always well coached with Sully and his team will get better and better. Clearly one of the top teams in the 9th again this year.
