I think their best player but if follow along this is a short term hand injury.

Kunkel is who went out....Cooper was only down 3 and he had 14 pts 3 mins in to that 2nd qtr when the injury happened. Should be fine though from what I was told.

With or without Kunkel, Mason is still a tough team. Lost to Wilmington in the state sweet 16 last year and returned some good juniors from that group.

Cooper wins this game in my opinion if Kunkle doesn't go down IMO. Frankly Cooper still had its chances after being down 13 still cut it to 6 with 3:50 to go and the ball. Missing Kunkle allowed Mason to double McNeil and disrupt the flow of the Jags offense and created some key turnovers.

 

Congrats to Mason and no disrespect whatsoever. Cooper is going to be just fine when they are at full strength.

Total 360 from the Holy Cross game. If Cooper played like this against HC they would have blown them out. They still have a lot of room to get better but showed today what they are capable of if they can stay healthy.
