Most teams have already started having sign ups.

Saw a post that Dixie Raiders have disbanded for this season. Those kids interested in playing are eligible to compete for South Kenton.

Sad. Hard to believe NKYFL programs feeding smaller schools can survive and the Raiders couldn't. That's not good news for Dixie and Turkeyfoot's program.

There whole program? or just one division?

Everything. There is no Raiders program for this year. Haven't heard if they will attempt to field teams next year.

Depends on who you ask I guess :-)

Numbers seemed down at the first day of practice for South Kenton. Anyone have the official #'s? Still some families on vacation and some others will be late so it may be too early.

Fort Thomas Highlands 8th grade has (2) teams that will compete in NKY league. There are about 15-16 players on both teams. First practice was last night.

What league? All middle school teams or NKYFL?

I believe NKYFL, but haven't seen schedule.

I thought it was the middle school league that most of the other schools compete in, outside of Covington Catholic.

I'm guessing the NKYFL. The reason being I don't think you can have 2 different 8th grade teams in the Middle School League. I know you can have a 7th & 8th..
