Didnt see the game, but from what I have hear is was a good one. Union's 8th grade team is down from what they have had in years past (but thats been known for a few years) kids play hard though.

 

It was a close game. Ft. Thomas has a few really good players. Union's Connor Lee played good. He will be fun to watch when he has more support. Union played 6 or more 7th graders with some of them getting a lot of reps.

Great to hear the Birds are playing in the NKYFL.

 

I hear the CCRD midgets are pretty darn good with a couple future Bluebirds in the backfield in Wiggins (QB) and Surrey (TB).

Yes they are South Kenton plays them next weekend. Should be a good game. The Midget Red Devils are a well coached team.

Union Raiders 7th grade played Ft. Thomas 6/7 grade blue and red teams today. Union won both games 35-0 against red and 20-8 against blue.

South Kenton midget youth beat Red Devils midget youth 7 to 6. South Kenton Seniors beat Red Devils Seniors in OT in a rainy mudfest. South Kenton Seniors, Midgets and Midget youth are all 2-0. Didn't get the Junior and Junior youth team scores.

Ft Thomas 8th grade Blue plays the Bellevue Tigers tonight @ 6 in Ft Thomas. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Bellevue and has been moved because of Field conditions. No other age level games at Bellevue will be played today.

Red Devil Junior and Junior Youth beat South Kenton Junior and Junior Youth yesterday.

Ft Thomas 8th grade Blue plays the Bellevue Tigers tonight @ 6 in Ft Thomas. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Bellevue and has been moved because of Field conditions. No other age level games at Bellevue will be played today.

I believe the final was 54-0 in favor of Ft Thomas Blue. No passing Touchdowns. Yes Joe Buten did take the 1st snap to the house. Joe ended up with 4tds on the day with I believe 6 carries and about a 100 yards in the 1st half. A lot of kids received different looks from FT Blue yesterday. Some bright spots for Bellevue are that they have some very nice Size and a couple of Speedy Big RB's. Just FT Blue's LB's were Speedier.:thumb:

Yes I heard that as well later in the day after I was originally told they may cancel. The Ft Thomas Blue vs Bellevue game was still played at 6 in Ft Thomas.

It should be a great day of football in fort Thomas with the BT playing FT blue and CCRD playing FT white.
