Coach Coburn does an outstanding job. I would take his opinion, seeing the girls in practice and games everyday, over the casual fan. I am sure he will have a great game plan and have his girls ready to play. Ryle has the advantage in talent, but I give the coaching edge to St Henry. Should be a good game.

Mason did scout Scott and Brossart in the district finals. The head coach was there in person to watch that game.

With the 10th region being so spread out, you have coaches voting for players they have never seen play. It is hard to make the correct selections based only on stats...

I dont have a dog in this fight, but wasnt Cravens 10th region coach of the year last year. That is voted on by the other coaches in the 10th region. I am not sure, but dont think he forgot how to coach over the summer last year???

If Campbell gets the ball inside to Peters often, it will be trouble for Brossart.

The problem is that a lot of the coaches do not get to see all these girls play. Because the region is so spread out, coaches in Northern KY might not see anyone from outside NKY play. And the coaches in the southern part of the region do not get to see many of the northern teams play.

All the kids you mentioned for Calvary are only Juniors. If they have some seniors step up, could be an interesting year. Also, new coach at Calvary, will be an improvement.

Campbell County won the 37th District JV Tourney

They dont lose the game, they would just take the lowest seed in the district for the tournament. Silver Grove did this for a couple of years when they first brought back the program. They opted to not play the other 4 teams in the district and took the 5th seed in the tournament. It gave them a chance to schedule some teams that would be more comparable to their team.
