  1. Sounds like a really good game!!
  2. I got a pretty big smile on my face when I read it as well. But who knows, I am sure noone thought LC would beat SC, I just don't see Holmes letting this one get away! :thumb:
  3. Any links to listen on the radio? Seeing as Elliott County has been all over espn.com and usatoday.com, you would think that ESPN 360 would have picked up this game!! LOL
  4. Got to go with Holmes in this one. They may not have looked pretty at times, but it is all about advancing. I see them coming to play tomorrow realizing they are playing for a trip to the semi's. Holmes by 10
  5. Really excited for the game tomorrow vs. Lex Cath. Hopefully Holmes wins so I can make the trip down south Saturday!!
  6. Hope he does and joins his brother at NKU!!!!
  7. Thanks, I figured that would be the smart approach, but didn't know if I could get away with buying them when I got their!
  8. Had a question I was hoping someone could help me out with. I wont be able to make it to the state tourney games until saturday morning for the semi's and final, and I was wondering if I could still get good, lower level tickets buying them when I get there, or if I should pre-order them now and have them sent to me? Just curious, because I don't want to get to Lexington Saturday morning around 9 and get tickets where I have to bring a pair of binoculars to watch. Someone help me out please!
  9. I am with you on this one. I might be wrong, but it is JMO that these 5 players for Elliott County will not have much legs left if they get to a semi-final matchup with Holmes. Holmes atleast players 7-8 players on average to give the legs a little rest. From what I have seen and heard, if Elliott isn't blowing a team out, they play 5-6 at most.
  10. I see Holmes in this one by right around 10. Boone will keep it close for awhile, but the "studs" for Holmes will pull away in the 2nd half!
  11. Still put up 80+ points without playing too hard ha ha. I hate too see what happens to Ashland if Elliott decides to play there game!:sssh:
  12. Congratulations Holmes on a big win. On too tuesday where I can smell a little pay back already!
  13. Looks like I was wrong on my prediction. Wish I could have seen the game. Congrats Rebels on a big win. Now it is time to strap it up with the best the 9th region has too offer!!
  14. Yeah, any updates on the injury? And how about Ferg, whats his stat line looking like? Come on man I need some updates! Lol JK
  15. What about that QB from Conner? West I think is his last name. Any chance he could make some noise state-wide?
  16. I am sure that it was a big win for the program, but you also have to realize that Elliott County is not Greenup County
  17. Going to go with Highlands in this one. Highlands 58 Boone 49
  18. Ha Ha...sounds like he might have left a bad taste in the mouth of some Bluebirds!
  19. Thanks, he has a good stroke and can light it up from down town!
  20. I don't think Elliott County will have very much trouble in this field. Got a good draw also for an already weak region tournament. Eliott wins and names the score all the way IMO
  21. Went with Holmes in this one. Defense and size are too much for NCC!!
  22. Agreed, I used to attend Morehead State and had quite a few friends that graduated from Elliott County. Had quite a few opportunities to watch them play and was very impressed with what I saw, especially from a school that is so small. With the way Holmes played tonight, Elliott would get a W against them, IMO. I do believe, though, that if Holmes plays like I have seen them play Elliott would be to small to beat them. Gotta give those boys some credit though, they are beating up on almost every team they play down there in Sandy Hook!:thumb:
  23. Who was the young man for NCC who hit numerous 3-pointers tonight, I believe #21? He hit some big, tough shots tonight that really lifted his team if you ask me
  24. I have watched Holmes a few times this season, and it may just be me but I feel like Holmes, a lot of times, plays to their competition level, does anyone else feel that way? The refs let the boys play tonight, and I think that worked out in Holmes favor big time. Like a few mentioned before, Ryle looked scared out their for most of the game!
