John Damron from NL, lefty with three years varsity under his belt. Looked great this summer. Being watched by serveral D-1 schools.

NL better players did not play with the high school team these summer. They played on summer travel teams. I think Corbin plays NL first game of season, should answer a lot of questions for Corbin.

Trust me NL is loaded all the way around. Deep in pitiching and loaded with power at the plate. Return everyone from last year and we hope we draw Clay Co. in first game.

NL is by far the best team in the 13th

What about what this has done to all the small buisnesses across SE KY. who have donated year after year to the 13 region tournment. They get very few chances to get any kind of small return back from the tournment except when it is held in their community. I can't believe school officials are so lazy that they can't at least work once every few years to host a tournment to give back to small business in their community who have supported them over the years. School officials (state workers) we all don't get teacher retirment and and 40 hour work weeks, we the small businesses in SE KY. have to reley on these type of events when they come around. If someone has not explained to you that times are really tough, let me be the one:this country is in the worst shape it has been in since the great depression. People are loosing their jobs everyday, we really appreciate your consideration when making these types of decissions without asking the small business what they think.

If it comes down to coaching this game is a easy pick. Bell County!

Do larger schools like WKU let kids play postions and pitch at that level. I understand the kid has a cannon for a arm. Will probably be a mid to high draft pick when he is ready.

Watched Smith at the Jr. All Star game and the Cinny Flames tournment this past summer just wear the ball out, hitting it with power to all parts of the field. I think Riddle and Smith will playing together this fall down in Jupiter Fla. in the WWBA World Championship.

The kid from N.L. must of had a pretty good year. He had a great day in the Jr. All Star game hitting a ball off the right center field fence for a triple and stealing two bases off the kid from Ballard along with throwing a kid out at the plate. I understand he also plays for the KBC this summer. The region must of had a little talent.

Lexington Catholic A.D. should be given a raise for hiring the best coach in the state of Ky. for high school baseball. Then he should give coach Clary a raise because he is by far the hardest working coach I've ever seen. Congradulations Catholic for a great year.:dancingpa

Jackson did not beat Red Bird. Red Bird dropped out before tournment started. Like always the 49th district is decided alot like the KY. lottery. The district should be represented by the best two teams, not one who wins the lottery draw.

North Laurel is on a little roll after defeating Whitley,Corbin and Harlan County over the past week.North Laurel is starting to show this region what a force they will be over the next three years.

I don't understand why this score shocks you. North has the best eighth grader in the region starting in centerfield. The best freshman in the region starting at shortstop.
