As the season is approaching lets get a look at all the schools in the 13th Regions pitching so we have an idea of who to look for and listen for.

Off the top of my head, I would imagine that the Pratt kid from Middlesboro would be one of the top returners. He is the lefty. I remember him coming in to pitch as a freshman in the regional semi's against us a few years ago; tough.

Harlan Co. has a young pitcher coming back as well, although his name escapes me. He is a righty, throws 79-81 with a decent curve.

If he plays, the Griffin kid from Clay County is pretty tough.

Vorbeck from Corbin IMO is the best in the region.

That would be Tyler Boggs. He won several games last year as an 8th grader, including a win over Middlesboro in the district tournament. I look for a big year from this freshman!

John Damron from NL, lefty with three years varsity under his belt. Looked great this summer. Being watched by serveral D-1 schools.

Who is the ace for NL this year?

Corbin rocked Damron this year in summer ball!

Corbin must of had a great summer ball team.

You are correct my friend!:thumb:

What about Justin King from Knox Central?

What about Zach Storms NL.

What about Adams, Gilbert and Baker from SL.

What about Griffin from Clay Co.

What about them? Talk about them don't jut ask!

Let's start with Adams SL. Jr. All-Stat last year, was SL ace thru out their tournment run. IMO is by far the best pitcher returning in the 13th region. Griffin from Clay Co., big kid with lots of power. Dad has been his coach, knows how to win period. Gilbert and Baker both hard throwers for SL lots of experience. Storms will be the sleeper this year along with Vorback, both young still have alot to learn but will be nice players by the time their seniors.
