Not shocked ate all at this outcome. I picked them 47-44. I felt that NCC's defense would cause Boone problems. Congratulations to NCC and I hope for the best for them at Diddle. Boone had another great year. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Heartbreaking.... I feel for everyone who was there and for everyone who personally knew the young man. Cherish each day my friends.

Never did understand the reasoning behind the National count. IMO, if you are good enough to play on the Varsity team in the 7th and 8th grades your points should certainly count.

I grew up playing on the court in the VonLehman's back yard. My Dad took me to watch Jon play against and guard Bill Walton in the NCAA Tournament Jon's Senior year at the University of Dayton.

I believe Ryle has their share of loyal fans and supporters. I know that we are. Sure they have their disgruntled followers too. Who doesn't? I can't wait to do it all over again next season. As a side note; Are there any really tall and physical girls transferring into the Ryle District between now and next season? :lol:

I was just looking at the views of the last 2 Ryle- Boone games and the Ryle- NDA game and their have been over 6200 views! Wow... we are now encroaching on the boys territory. I love the interest in our girls basketball.

I really want to thank paNDA for his contributions to the Northern Kentucky sports scene. I know we sure appreciate your pictures and I know the players do as well. I would say Boone is the favorite going into this weekend but honestly, any of the 4 could win it all with NCC being the slight favorite, IMO, to upset Boone. I, like many of us on here, would love to see the 9th win it all! Me, I'm getting geared up for the AAU season.

They hit 3's, layups, short range jumpers. Pretty much the gamut.
