Boone played their usual solid game. Holy Cross, IMO, finally show up to play in the 3rd quarter. Disappointed in their 1st half effort.

Nice win for St. Henry . I was there and it was never more than a 5 point lead for either team. Very physical at times and very poor shooting most of the game. It was definately a "Grinder".

Now, now ,now Crunch you and most of the Boone fans here usually can't wait to hear what I have to say next! Hahahahaha!

Lights out is the way Ryle shot at Simon-Kenton last month and the way Boone shot the other night. Have yet to see that type of shooting from any HS team at BOK. Hard to judge with the open background.

I would love to see the Ballard team with a couple of shooting guards. They would be hard to handle with their inside presence.

That would be nice. I can't remember any team shooting " Lights out" at BOK in the past 2 years.

The young ladies enjoy a challenge. Same road as last year basically.

I'm sure that they are not the same team and no disrespect to the Bluebirds, but are they 15 - 20 points better than they were in December?

Other than beating St. Henry in the 1st game of the season, hasn't Highlands lost to every other team in the tournament at least once? I can't see them upsetting Dixie in the 1st round. Dixie 69- Highlands 55.

I always like fast, athletic teams on the bigger floor so I'm picking Holmes by 5.

Of course I like Boone in this one. I do think the big girl for Holy Cross can hold her own but not enough inside help.

I like the Lady Cru in this one. I think they have gotten over their late season doledrums and injuries. You never know with the Lady Bluebirds, they sure suprised us a few weeks ago.

Our girls are pretty resiliant, so here's hoping for the best. Whatever happens I know it will be a fun tournament.
