Holmes by 5 on a neutral floor. Boone has trouble beating holmes away from home court.

I like the Dogs by 8. I think they turn up the speed of the game and it turns into a track meet. The bigger floor will help the Dogs as the Boone Co bigs may have trouble keeping up. I still expect a close game until maybe late in the 2nd half.

Holmes by 10

I like Boone's chances if Coach learns how to sub in players. Playing the same 5 players for 32 minutes will get you beat. They have a great back up for Downs in Pitts. And Fookes can come off the bench and get you boards. If he coaches how he did against Ryle they lose by ten. If he learns how to coach Boone wins this game like they did the previous match-up.

This is not a game that fits Chris Fookes well.

Holmes must attack the rim in this game and try to get the Boone bigs in foul trouble.

First half of their first meeting, Holmes was settling for jumpers that they weren't making. Second half they attacked the rim and were simply too quick for the Boone defenders.

Hayes and Gray are the key for the Dogs. If these two play well, Holmes wins...plain and simple. Dontel Rice also must keep hitting the boards hard the way he has.

Brown will get his but it's up to Englemon and Knox to make him work the way they did Thelen.

I'm going to say that Boone's McQueary also doesn't shoot from outside in this match up the way he did in the friendly confines of Boone's gym.

Should be interesting to see if Boone comes out in man or a zone, as well as Holmes. When Holmes has played man recently, they have been extremely tough.

Gonna take the Dogs in this one but it wouldn't surprise me if Boone wins and wins by around 10.

Holmes: 65

Boone Co: 60

I will be stunned to see Boone in a man D.

I always like fast, athletic teams on the bigger floor so I'm picking Holmes by 5.

Not 100% sure but I believe Boone played some man against Holmes in the first game.

McQueary would love to keep this game in the thirties or low forties. Can't see him wanting to get in a track meet with Holmes.

Agreed...but Boone did beat Holmes in a high scoring affair in game one, so don't be surprised to see Boone force the tempo some.

Holmes HAS to deny that back cut on the baseline. Boone has killed them with this over the years.

The last time these two played the score was 72-65...

Was Montgomery still healthy and playing in that one? That would be a big difference and factor in style of play for Boone in this one.
