Beechwood will be a force in NKY, as they are every year. They need to not focus on the Mayfields until the opportunity to play them presents itself. There is a lot of pride in this small school and I would never count them out once tournament time comes. Hope it's a successful season for all.

I don't remember how successful they were as a team because it was an era where the UK Wildcats ruled the SEC, but I remember watching Pete Maravich playing for his Dad, Press, at LSU.

Jenna and Coach Waugh have a really strong like and respect for one another.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ashley and her family today. She tore her ACL recently. Such a tough break on the summer before your Senior. Here is hoping that everything goes well and you recover soon. Hopefully in time to enjoy at least part of your Senior Basketball year.

Jenna will be wearing #35 for Xavier's Lady Musketeers for the 2012-2013 season. Congratulations on your choice and I know getting this out of the way will allow you to really enjoy your Senior season at Ryle High School.

Great new on Jenna's recruitment yesterday but I will wait to announce her selection until I get approval from her family today.

Believe me, I understand. We have been on a couple of recruiting trips with Jenna and we are always calculating the drive on the way home Oh, to be young and talented.

All too common of a story these days.

I know a few Alumni who would be outstanding coaches at Bellevue, or any where else but I don't see any applying with the constant second guessing of the AD and the Administration.

Some of those Beechwood teams would have contended in ANY Class.:thumb:

According to the Enquirer, Tara Boothe, will be named the new coach at Dixie. A fine choice. I think she will get more girls to go out for the team and in time, develop a contender.
