NKY Coaches poll week 5
I think so as well. There's not a huge gap between 1 and 2 like there was last year.

NKY Coaches poll week 5
Looks like we'll have to see who is #1 on the field in a couple of weeks.

Lexington Catholic/Cooper Predictions
I like Cooper in this one. Jags are well coached and play solid football.

Bluegrasspreps' Class 5A Rankings - Discussion (9-19)
When is the last time FTH wasn't ranked in this poll? Ever?
-
Simon Kenton/Highlands Predictions
Because 5A is so much weaker than 6A?
-
Beechwood/Holy Cross Predictions
Should be a really good game. Took the home team in the poll.

Shelby County Charles Hurt
One of my early favorites at UK. Great career at Shelby County before moving to Lexington. Sad to hear of his loss.

Covington Catholic 44 Beechwood 10
Congrats to CovCath. Shocked at the final score in this one. Thought BW would have kept it closer.

Bluegrasspreps' Class 6A Rankings - Discussion (9-19)
I like SK @ #3. Just have to be 1-0 this week at FTH.

Simon Kenton/Highlands Predictions
We play in the big boy division. It's a little harder to win state titles when you're in with the heavy weights. How did you do against St. X?

Lafayette at Scott County predictions
Should be a really good game. I took the home team in the poll. To me it's a pick'em on a neutral field.

Is Ryle a contender this year?
again, SK is full. No seats for anyone there wanting to transfer in. If you live in Kenton County the only school with open seats is Scott. Dixie has been full in the past, haven't seen #'s this year. Open enrollment is a crutch that people just won't give up on. It's not the same as Trinity or St. X.

Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
If the weather forecast is correct, could be a night dominated by the team with the better line play.

Is Ryle a contender this year?
Yes. The balance of power is beginning to shift.

Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
Thanks for making my point. Cam will have the ball at nearly every snap. Dante won't have as many touches. As a result, SK should score more points.

Conner 60 Scott 8
Hoping that Scott pulls it together soon. Really had high hopes after last year but knew they were loosing a ton of kids to graduation (not transfers as some would suggest). Having the Eagles in the NKYFL will help with development as youngsters.
-
Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
Two best athletes on the field will be Racke and Hendrix. Racke will have his hands on the ball way more than Hendrix.
-
Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
As for Cooper, so much respect for that coaching staff on what they are doing out in Union. You can always expect those kids to show up and fight to the final whistle. No quit in them, no matter the score.

Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
Just people who like good HS football, of which, you are not included.

Highlands 44 Campbell County 7 (Frosh)
Campbell's middle school teams looked great when I saw them. The future is bright in Alexandria.

Gallatin County 2016-17
Looking forward to big things from Peyton Morgan.

NKY Week 3 contest results?
I can't even remember who I picked. Heck, I may not have even entered that week.
