I am not to sure about this assumption. Coach Douglas and the Lady Saints are a fine group. WE SHALL SEE.

If I recall St Pats was missing their leading scorer the past few games. Go Lady Saints I know you can do it. Stay strong and pull it together.

Was at the game tonight and thought it was a pretty good game but with some obvious missed calls. I saw some on the JV game and was not too impressed with NCC. I think without Sandfoss next year they will be lacking some good guard play. I think Bartels is a excellent player but has Sandfoss. I just dont think their bench is very deep. Sandfoss will drive the ball into some big girls. I just dont see that with the guard play I saw on JV. Very small girls. But definitely a great senior night. Good Luck to the seniors. Will any of them continue on playing college ball?

I am not real familiar with the girls that go to NCC from Bellevue and Dayton but I was told last week at a middle school game at NCC that those girls tend to be overlooked. I hope this is not the case because there is a guard,and 2 post players from Holy Trinity that could be a huge asset to the NCC team. They are 8th graders and seem to play well. I think they could be an could definitely help out Bellevue and Dayton highschool but I am hoping they are going to NCC and given a fair shake.

I truley agree with this example. I know there are schools that have no choice to play up girls because of the size of the school but that is not the case all the time. I have seen 7th graders running the point at the Varsity level. The maturity is not there. There have been crunch time decisions and the lack of experience definitely shows. I have seen talented girls fall to the wayside because of pulling up middle school girls.

The incoming freshman class to NCC. There are around 4 from St Therese, 3 or so from St Joes and a few from Holy Trinity. I have seen some of these girls and was impressed with some of the guard and post play. I know some of these girls play AAU together to build up some chemistry. Hopefully these girls grow together as a team.

Thanks. My daughter has been going to the training sessions with Laurie Pirtle since the summer and absolutely loves her intensity. She has been invited to go to sessions for the heat that started last week which she attended. I am very impressed and hoping this helps her high school years(freshman next year). She played AAU last year with an organization which we were not pleased. Thanks again for the information,

Sorry I was misinformed at the boys NCC game that if NCC and Bracken won first rounds then they would play each other. I guess that is how rumors spread.:laugh:

Any thoughts if Bracken and NCC end up playing?

Dione Ware(not sure spelling is correct) is hurt.I think an ankle injury but I may be wrong.I do know she has been out the whole season. She is a really good post player and a good kid.

I am not trying to take anything away from bracken. Congrats on a huge win. Coach Douglas getting bashed, must be doing something right to have all this said about her. The season is still young! Go Coach Douglas, you have them all talking!!!!

Congratulations Lady Saints. Your still top notch and Coach Douglas your a class act. As for thinking Bracken could compete with NCC, you are delerious. I don't even think if you played them in the "Igloo" with your refs you would not even have a prayer. :laugh::laugh::laugh:

I seriously don't think Coach Douglas was being disrespectful but just caught up in the moment. I think every coach has those moments. Coach Douglas truly respects other teams and the game.

I think the Lady Saints will win reguardless of home court advantage. They not only are more disciplined but has a top notch coach. Good Luck Saints.

I am predicting your limb will break. Lady Saints are all around a better team. Coach Douglas is an excellent coach with a talented group of girls.

Is there any freshman that dress varsity for NCC?

How many seniors does NewCath graduate this year? How does their future look? Do they have anyone to replace Sandfoss? She has excellent ball skills.

It was a great performance by the Lady Saints. I was very disappointed from the poor sportsmanship I saw from the Bracken players. Intentional pushing and elbowing not very good sportsmanship. As for the fans encouraging this behavior, what are you teaching these girls. I can't say this for all the bracken girls. K.Meyers did display class, maybe a few of her teammates need to watch her and learn.

Does Haight from Bracken have any college offers?

Isn't Bluegrass Lady Diamonds a 6th,7th,8th grade nky AAU team? I don't think the 8th grade has anyone from St.Joes. Mostly from St.Therese and a couple from Holy Trinity. I thought they tried to snatch up the talented girls and hope to form a chemistry for the high school years at NCC. I don't know maybe I am wrong.
