We as parents didn't complain about our daughters playing time. It was other parents coming up to us stating they don't understand how our daughter did not start over the coaches daughter. I felt this particular situation was the coach was trying to build up his daughters confidence at my daughters expense. That is fine. Next year will be a totally different situation because of the Ohio rule 2 girls per school. I didn't see this coming from this coach or my daughter would not have played.

Any thoughts on Coaches coaching their daughter on an AAU club? I feel it is very expensive to play and then to deal with competing with the coaches daughter.

Attended the TMCamp and wondering why there were varsity teams but some did not bring their JV. Why not????

Can NCC repeat an all A championship again??? Any feedback on what kind of season they can anticipate?:confused:

Newport Central Catholic will have to feel the loss of a solid ball handler (Sandfoss). Sure they have Theim and Bartels but they were great assessts to Sandfoss.

Congratulations to St. Patrick's Anne Klee for continuing her basketball career at Pikeville College. Anne contributed a great deal to the Lady Saints. She will be greatly missed at St.Pats!!!!!

Did not mean to break any rules. If I broke this rule then so did previous threads. I guess they used better words. I do not have anything against Boone, I think they have a great program. I guess I am sour when I see kids getting lost in the mix and had talent. I just simply stated do they not have enough girls to develop? Sorry if I offended anyone, just an observation!!!!!

Sorry, I did not know that. But..... I really do not think comparing this to the Boone situation is not even comparable. I don't think Coach Dawn approaches girls at middle school age to attend NCC. And by the way he has some talented incoming freshman from a variety of his feeder schools this year which he can develop to be great ball players.

That is fetching. NCC and Brossart have a common feeder school. I am sure there were other factors those girls chose NCC. Friends, etc.?

Does Boone not have enough girls to develop (underclassman) instead of recruiting. This is highschool??? Crazy. Why not develop the kids in your own system and make that the challenge of being a Great coach. NCC does.

I am so glad to finally see that she got the recognition she deserved. I saw her play this summer at Dixie during the team camps and I never saw anyone that fast. Good Luck. I hope you continue on playing.

I know . I was hoping it started at 8. My daughter has practice untill 730 with aau team. I just don't want to pay all that money and miss 1st half. BUMMER

Is it possible it is starting at 8pm. If you go to the Bank of Ky Center is states games are 6 and 8.

Does NCC have any point guards in the Fresh,Soph, Jr or even their feeder schools that can make an impact?
