Final from BOK.

Any final on the St. Henry vs Holy Cross game?

Congrats to the Ryle Lady Raiders. Very nice win.

Any final on the St. Henry vs Holy Cross game?

St. Henry won big.

How about

some Ryle/NCC details?

From kentucky.com:

Ryle 42 Newport Central Catholic 36

Ryle 15 9 1 17 42

Newport Central Catholic 14 7 10 5 36

Ryle (21-9) -- Jump 17, Cheesman 10, Johnson 7, Crittendon 6, Douthit 2.

Newport Central Catholic (23-3) -- Sandfoss 20, Muench 4, Tabor 4, Thiem 3, Bartels 3, Fryer 2.

Thanks! Looks like Sandfoss had the expected good game, but not Crittendon.

Maybe NCC had trouble stopping Jump's 3's. . .

One team was destined to win ugly, fortunately it was us tonight. Sandfoss singlehandedly put NC in a position to win and was the best player on the floor tonight - great game young lady. Tough loss for NC and both teams can look at MANY ways they played short of expectations. But, tourney pressure with 2 good teams can do interesting things. NC is a class program. Coach Dawn is an outstanding coach. Both teams gave it all they had. Congrats to Ryle on a very big win. Time to pay back the Cru!

Crittendon had 6 points, 2 steals, 3 blocks, and 11 rebounds. Doesn't sound terrible to me.

1st quarter these two teams looked incredibly good, second so so, 3rd was horrible with Ryle scoring 1 point, they missed 4 straight bunnies and then they rebounded their game in the 4th for the win. Odd game played hard by both teams.

Ryle had a chance to score 10/12 straight points at one point in the third quarter but missed shot after easy shot and I thought that NCC weathered the Raiders storm and in fact took the lead and would win this game.

NCC held the lead from that point to just about the last minute or so when a Lady Raider was on the charity line shooting two. She made the first to put Ryle up one, then missed the second and Ryle got the rebound passed the ball outside the arch and a Lady Raider hit a Trey and you could see the air just go out of NCC at that moment.

The first quarter of this game was as good as any game I had seen this year and I thought we might have a hit scoring barn burner with both teams hitting shot after shot but the pressure in the game and the larger floor took toll.

My reason for bringing up the bigger floor was most of the shots missed from outside were short which to me at least showed that both teams girls were getting tired of motoring up and down the floor.

Good game and if this game were played 10 times NCC would win 5 of them and Ryle would win the other 5. Congrats to both team players, coaches and fans!

Congrats to the Lady Raiders. Looks like a Boone/Ryle final.

Very good recap, TOG, except the trey actually broke a 36-36 tie and was an amazing shot from 25 feet. One of those games where we were the fortunate team that was able to escape tonight. I thought the four missed layups would do us in.

I thought the one FT the young lady made took Ryle to one up? You might be right but...without that TREY does Ryle win this game?
