Way to go Ryle!!

I guess we will most likely get our Boone and Ryle rematch again. It ought to be a great game like the others.

Ryle played a good hard game but in my opinion what they did in the first quarter was the thing to do. I am not real sure why they changed it up because it was definitely working. Cheeseman was hitting and then Jump started. Crittendon was the rebounder and playing tough defense even though her shots were not falling.

Ryle's downfall will be dribbling too much and not passing the ball around to the open players. NCC moved the ball getting good shots because they forced the defense to move. Dribbling allows defense to rest and players not get open. Passing the ball around is the key. Crittendon and Cheeseman were open but didn't get the ball. Gotta incorporate all! Hmmm - what to do!

Can't wait until another Boone/Ryle rematch! Moss will be ready as well as Nell without a doubt. Sandlin will move the ball around and open shots will happen. Ryle will need to have Jump, Crittendon and Cheeseman ready to go. Johnson bringing her defense. It is up to Oliverio!! She will need to use all her players and not just stick with a couple like in the past. Boone will be ready!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Ryle gets a hugh win over Alll A State Champion NCC and you suggest they pass the ball more. Sounds like what they did tonite worked just fine. Also appears somebody is upset that a couple of girls didnt get any milk with their cookies tonite. :thumb::thumb:20n10 FOG

Chase24 is dead on.

Nice crowds for the ladies games tonight. NCC (IMO) had the larger of the two between Ryle and NCC but both NCC and Ryle had the largest crowds of the tourney so far!

Hats off to the HC boys for cheering so hard for their team and I enjoyed the Pep Band from Ryle.

Nice first round action both nights and a tip of Theoldguy hat to the men in stripes from the #16 Region, as they have done a wonderful job of calling the games. :thumb: Thanks gentlemen keep up the good work!

Agree with you and Chase24!

Ryle will need to pass and not dribble the ball as much as they did tonight, if they want to break that Boone County press that NF will thrown at them all night.

Sweeperboy, they just should have beat NCC by more than 6. They could have blown this game out easily. I'm just saying that them not passing will be there downfall. I personally think that Crittendon and Cheeseman had good games. My feelings aren't hurt because of them not getting the ball (doesn't affect me). If you watched the game you would have seen easily numerous times they were open. Look at the pictures above - a couple show how they are wide open. I don't want you to think that I am taking away from Jump becasue I'm not. Jump had a great game! All I'm saying is that all have to be incorporated because what happens when Jump gets shut down. You'll expect them to play big then so why not pass the ball. It is obvious I am not the only one who thinks dribbling is a problem for this team!!

We'll just see at the Boone game! My Lady Rebels will be ready.

Cheeseman has a really nice 3 point shot.

Jump came to play tonight, she looked to score everytime she touched the ball and made a big difference in the outcome. Nice game Abby.

Wonderful pics Panda. Thanks for sharing!

I thought the one FT the young lady made took Ryle to one up? You might be right but...without that TREY does Ryle win this game?
Correct, FT put them up 1. By the way, great recap.:thumb:

Ryle has too much talent for NCC . I'm still trying to figure out what Ryle tries to do offensively besides dribble a lot up top.

This could have easily been a 10 to 15 point Ryle victory. Ryle's staff failed to recognize mismatches or failed to take advantage of obvious mismatches. Early in the first quarter Crittenden blew by Tabor for an easy shot. Tabor is great in the post but looked to me like she was out of her comfort zone defensively on the perimeter. Obvious problem for NC. Fortunately for Ron Dawn he didn't have to worry about it as Ryle never seemed to try to capitalize on it.

Their offensive sets baffle me at times.

Worst game I've ever seen NCC play. All year they beat people to the ball because of their quickness, this game for some reason they hesitated. Just wasn't their night I guess.

Not correct. First FT made and second FT missed with the score at 36. Then, Jump nails the trey to make it 39-36. The Enquirer has it recapped this way too and everyone knows that whatever you read in the paper is always true. :D Let's get focused on St. Henry for 3 days.

Exactly correct, not that it matters. Score after 3 pointer 36 to 39
