Nice win for St Pat!

St. Pat led 50-48 early in the fourth quarter and from there, their experience took over the rest of the way. Paris turned the ball over 12 times in the fourth quarter that led to numerous easy baskets by the Payne sisters. St. Pat outshot Paris from the free throw line hitting 23-of-34 attempts, while Paris made just 5-of-16. Overall, until those final few minutes, it was a great game. Paris turned the ball over 30 times and, 21 of those came in the second half. St. Pat open the game leading 13-0!

I am going to go out on a limb and predict Bracken County captures the Class A title Saturday night. BTW, stranger things have happened.. Go Lady Polar Bears.

I think the winner of the Brossart / St Pat game on Friday night, would take the crown. But, stranger things have happened.

slow down.......Brossart and St. Pat both have to win a game before Friday.

I am predicting your limb will break. Lady Saints are all around a better team. Coach Douglas is an excellent coach with a talented group of girls.

I was expecting last nights game to be closer than some predictions. The Lady Saints had not played a game for a week do to the snow and well whatever the excuse George Roger Clark had for not playing Sat night even though they loaded up there boys and sent them to play in Lexington. Paris has a nice young team the will have to be reckoned with in the near future. But I think the Lady Saints will play better this week with regularly scheduled games.

Will Nicholas be able to execute anything gainst them?

Congrats to the Lady Saints. This looks to be their year to win the regional All-A tourney.:thumb:

This game was much closer than the score shows, when Paris got down around 8 points in the 4th Quarter it look like the gave up, started turning the ball over and not getting back on D. At one point St Pat had a 4 on 0 break and scored. This is St Pat All A Classic to lose. Big play off the bench by Hamilton as Klee was in foul trouble most of the 3rd Quarter. The Payne sisters are the gas in the car and make St. Pat go, these girls don't take a play off and can create tons of turnovers and steals.

I expected the final score to be closer, but the game itself, after Paris came back into it in the first quarter, was close until the middle of the fourth quarter when the Saints defense kicked into high gear and took control.

It was a good game, though.

Good Luck Saints!
