St. Patrick 65 Paris 48

I was wondering two things about St. Pat's. Do they normally only play six players? Last night they only went about two players off the bench and she did not sub her startes until they picked up their 3rd foul in the second and 4th in the 3rd.

Also, looking at the final score it did not reflect the game. Has this happened to St Pat's a few times this year, specifically Bracken and St. Henry? A time when the score did not accurately project how close the game actually was.

Which bracken game are you referring to b/c I was the one at Villa Madonna and St. Pat had a 9 point lead at the end of the 1st, an 18 point lead at the half, a 27 point lead at the end of the 3rd and went on to win by 32. So it was never close and the lead kept building. The first Bracken County game wasn't really won by a large margin so I think the score did reflect the game pretty well. As for St. Henry, I don't remember it being a close game either. The Saints led that game by ten or more at the end of every quarter.

But you are right, the score in this (Paris) game was not reflective of the game at all. It was too close for comfort.

They were acual questions. I didn't know about the bracken or henry games.

I was expecting last nights game to be closer than some predictions. The Lady Saints had not played a game for a week do to the snow and well whatever the excuse George Roger Clark had for not playing Sat night even though they loaded up there boys and sent them to play in Lexington. Paris has a nice young team the will have to be reckoned with in the near future. But I think the Lady Saints will play better this week with regularly scheduled games.

Congratulations to St. Patrick for the win.

Paris is a very young team, starting a seventh grader and two freshmen along with a junior and the lone senior on the team. The freshmen have been playing together for several years and won an AAU state championship a few years back with the current coach of the Ladyhounds.
