Holmes has 41 players, three not dressed, I do not see a team on Holmes schedule that they can not compete with.

Wife is 4 years younger, but our birthdays are close, mine March 23, hers March 20, first day of spring.

Holmes has a scrimmage next Friday at Holmes, I believe it’s at 7 pm.

It would be a great hire, he is currently teaching at Holmes, very good coach and even better guy.

Looking at Holmes schedule, I am thinking 6 to 7 wins, they really only lost two starters and with the Calloway brothers returning they should be fine, they should be dressing 30 plus players, many going both ways may hurt and really need to improve the kicking game, Scott, Boyd and Holmes should battle this year for district title.

Heading to Orange Beach for a world softball fastpitch tournament in gulf shores, have never been, im a sea food junkie, any recommendations. We usually do a cruise, still have one on hold, I’m waiting to see how things shake out on cruises.

Softball will have a junior and senior all star game on June 21 st at Beechwood, the junior games is scheduled for 5 pm and the senior game at 7.

Mount Olivet in Robertson County’s has no fast food, no Dr and no ambulance service. Nichols County has no fast food other than subway in a gas station. They have 3 sit down restaurants that I can think of, Carlisle the county seat has around 1,700 population.

Of course as a Holmes guy, I put Holmes up near the top, a shooters gym, always bright unlike some of the gyms, I really like Montgomery County’s, Henry County and Mason, call me crazy but that small gym in Latonia (the Finn) is also one of my favorites, the atmosphere is what high school ball is all about. Also I would have to add Scott County to my list that I have attended a game in.

Covington Catholic and Saint Henry will be played at Holmes Monday evening.

Boone County was probably the most improved team in the ninth region from first tip off til now, also I believe Boone lost more games to covid than most teams, great bunch of seniors, congrats to Coach Browning and his staff for making things exciting down the stretch and playing toe to toe with a good Conner team.

Draw will be Saturday morning , both girls and boys, drawing usually starts at 9 am.
