The California based burger chain announced today that they will be building a eastern corporate hub outside of Nashville.  You have to think that this means they will also be coming to Kentucky before long.  I've ate way more than my fair share of fast food, and in my opinion this is the best burger in the business.  I can't wait to get a double double without having to get on a plane.  If only they would work on improving their fries.  

I've never had it but I love a good cheeseburger.

I'm in.  Never had In N Out, but like the other said, I love a good cheeseburger.

Shake Shack is better.

I think I agree with this. I've only had both just one time...In and Out when I was in Palm Springs a few years ago, and Shake Shack in the Salt Lake City Airport. Both Burgers were pretty good, but Shake Shacks fries were better.

I've had In-And-Out a few times... Couple times in LA and once in Vegas. It's good, but it certainly didn't live up to the hype, IMO. To be fair, it is extremely rare that I agree with the hype on things that most people swear by. Maybe I'm just a contrarian in that way. ?

Had Shake Shack in New Orleans a couple years ago and it's by far the best "fast food" burger I've ever had, and it wasn't really close.

If you're in LA, by all means, enjoy the In-N-Out experience. 

Danny Meyer and company have "got it" at Shake Shack. French fries slay too - best in the business.

Been to In-N-Out in Napa a few times, not much of a selection, very good and the service has great, never been or saw Shake Shack. There is a burger place called Nations out west I really wish would make its way to Ky.

Almost anyone's fries seem to be better.  I think In-N-Out has the best burger, but Shake Shack is real close.  In my opinion best overall burger and fries is Habit Burger Grill.  I can live without the fries though.  If I'm hungry I'd rather double up on the burger and skip the fries.  

Must be something wrong with me, I don't think I've ever had a bad burger.

A bad burger to me is one that is clearly dry, overcooked and tastes like cardboard. That can be almost anywhere depending on the day and the cook.

Those are ones where I eat several bites just to see if I was wrong about the burger.  Then I realize that I've  eaten too much of it to send it back.  At that point, I give it a good burial by placing my napkin over it on my plate.
