They are doing well and are home now with a few injuries but nothing too bad. Thanks for all the concern and prayers.

There will be plenty of playing time for all three of these teammates. Hopefully they will push each other to improve in practice and not let excessive competition and comments on BGPs about who starts interfere with the good team chemistry this team has exhibited over the summer and off season.

Don't want to give out too many details at this time until I verify them, but thankfully the boys injuries do not seem to be life threatening.

The kid from Owen is 6'6" and 15-may have an inch or 2 to go. That said, D-1 will be a stretch as it is for anyone. Russell is very impressive and may have not gotten the recognition he deserved playing with Penney. I look for him to have a great season. I know he plays 3 sports. What is his best?

I also find it offensive that the state college's womens teams don't get a mention when all the men's teams do. The only womens' team featured is UK. With all the success that NKU's womens' team has had they don't even get a mention.

I agree. The write-ups are terrible. I think they just try to mention names to sell magazines. It states that Owen County's boys will be looking to replace Landon Marston. Well, he graduated in 2003. Drew Marston graduated last year. I've seen them mention kids who had quit the previous year and wouldn't even be playing.
