What players should we watch for come tip-off????

Jordan Shelton is one of the top returning big mean in the region, averaging a double double the past two seasons.

One of the top 10 will be Will Yager from Carroll Co.

Zach Jones and Bryce Carlton from Gallatin County should definitely make that list. Also, freshmen Kristian Morgan from Gallatin will be one to watch.

I've seen him play quite a few times so far this summer and I have yet to see an opposing team slow him down. One of the best players I've seen this summer

That's good news for SK, he had a nice Jr season. He improved a bunch between his sophmore and junior year.

This is a pretty good list but there is one player I am thinking of that should be on this list, Brandon Bowlin from Walton Verona. He could replace either Chambers from Simon or Jeffries from Henry, Not saying these kids are bad its just the Bowlin kid has more talent. I see there is a couple Walton Verona kids on this list so i would look out for the Bearcats!

I like Beckley as possibly the top player in the region in 2009-10. Shelby is a shadow of itself when he's not on the floor. Foley of North Oldham is an established star for the Mustangs. Donovan Johnson of Shelby County could be unstoppable this year. Zach Jones of Gallatin will also be up there. Jacob Russell is so tough for Anderson.

 

To me, everyone else on this list is long on POTENTIAL. They will all be critical to their teams' success - or lack thereof - but I think they're not the "shoo-ins" we've had in recent years in regards to players that should be locks for all-region. Some others, besides those not mentioned above, that also will have the OPPORTUNITY to strut their stuff: Devin Rowan of North Oldham, Casey Jackson of South Oldham, Darryl Hicks of Shelby County...

I agree on Jackson and Hicks. Hicks is the best freshmen in the region. Possible big time talent. Rowan has not impressed me to date, but he has the body for big potential. Spencer County has a real nice junior to be, but I can not remember his name. Any help??
