Owen County has looked better with each game. Osborne had a huge night and will be one to watch for the next three years. Everyone on the floor contributed to this win. Credit to Carroll Co for playing hard till the end and not giving up. Ethan Stewart shot well-anyone know how many he had? He also showed alot of heart and class.

He always does, but I still gotta go with Owen by 7.

fan34;3652024]Trimble didn't have an answer for the 3 point shooting. Shelton & Williams were a were a non factor in this game. I think Colligan did contributed a little more. Trimble Co. had the edge inside. Owen led by 20+ points at one point and Trimble would rally back to within 8 points before halftime, but could not overcome the overcome the 3 point shooting of Owen. Great effort by the young Trimble County squad.:thumb: True Owen's bigs didn't score alot but I think they did contribute. Trimble double teamed Williams and did not go out on the shooters. Lewis and Osborne made Trimble pay for that.

I thought that a middle school student could play AAU even while playing varsity ball. I know that I've seen it done.

I once saw funnel cakes as the main dish for breakfast at an elementary school but yet at my kids high school they can't have salt but have a coffee shop in the school that sells caffeinated and sugary drinks. Talk about mixed messages Ever eat a baked potato without salt? But I digress. Sadly the candy sales are easy and effective. Fruit just doesn't do as well.
