2 muddy games in a row Carroll's full backs grand total of zero carries not sure why we think we can run sweeps effectively in this stuff.

Congrats to Coach Fowler and the Rebel football program. This program looks to be headed in the right direction. Owen ran most of their plays up the middle of the field, very few sweeps.

Redsfan, Did Carroll even have fullbacks in the game? I do not recall any. This was not the same offense they ran when I saw them play earlier in the year. It was primarily a wildcat type offense with Sisestien. Owen had people in the backfield all night. When Carroll went with their normal QB, he struggled. I think 2 picks, fumbled snap (lost to Owen) and stripped on sack that was taken for a td. Plus, several bad snaps that threw the timing off on a bunch of plays. Carroll was definitely out of sync.

My point exactly we did not even line full backs up except maybe one play. Bascially the same against CAL. Makes your offense pretty predictable when you do what we have done recently. Too many good athletes on this team not to spread the ball around and I am just not talking about the full backs. This team has way more talent than they showcase, I can't figure it out I really like our staff and they are very football smart, just need to spread it around a little and good things will happen.
