They beat a team that is getting a ton of respect early in Collins. I doubt they played them two on five, so I would say Gallatin has a few kids capable of beating the mighty Pioneers.

Talent at the class A level is cyclical. You have good runs and down years, that is just the way of life at a small school.

I didn't mean to offend you with Carroll county, It was the Gallatin County wildcats on your schedule. Nothing wrong with playing the wildcats(1a), but I doubt it helps your strength of schedule.

Disregard the math, I thought Carroll and Owen were still class A schools.

The "man up" and "get your numbers up" comments never get old. We are still waiting for the economic boom to hit our town so we can get our numbers up. When I gaze down your schedule, I count four class A schools. To talk a little academics, that is 40 percent of your schedule.

Beating somebody really bad doesn't effect class. It is when you are taking that oppurtunity to throw the ball when your up 60 to try to run up the score that makes people question Henry County's class.

I know several class A schools around the eighth region that don't mind seeing Henry get owned like this. What comes around goes around.

I talked to some older gentlemen last night and they kept talking about how they destroyed all of the bigger schools in our region when they played. I couldn't get them to understand that this happened pre consolidation.

I realize your team beat a school in the 20's when you were the same size as they are now they have 2400 and your school is the same size. :sssh:

We are roughly playing around twenty varsity and 15 JV games.

I keep hearing a louisville school mentioned.

They knew what they were hiring, a state tournament mercenary.

Maybe I was thinking of those that do multiple sports, like football and basketball. Either way they get paid to do a job. I just don't understand how referee's are above criticism and all others including 16 to 18 year old kids aren't.

I fish(unprofessionally) as a hobby, and don't get paid 10,000 dollars a year to do it. Nobody ever complains about the way I cast my line either. Some of these guys might need to look for a new "Hobby."

The math isn't important, they get paid to do a job to the best of their ability. The proof is in the pudding, that call was horrendous. If a coach blows a call, the people in the community blast him. I know a ton of referee's that make more than most of the coaches in our region over the course of the year. Being a referee is a thankless job, one that all of these guys signed up for. I don't feel sorry for them when they catch heat, they knew what they were getting in to.

Just from an outsider looking in, it looks like there is too many parents that have power or a great deal of influence on the administration.

I disagree, anybody who thinks of gallatin as a David at this point has not been paying attention.

Owen has a very nice team, this is not a suprise to me.
