Henry County seems to have righted the ship with a nice win against South Oldham last Friday. Trimble, I'm told, has 17 players and does not want to play the Wildcats. I believe Coach J. will not make the Raiders sacrificial lambs. He'll give his starters some time and then play the younger guys. I think this is the final meeting between the two teams as Trimble will not play them after this game. Carroll, Eminence and now Trimble go off Henry County's schedule. The locals are falling away. Henry just continues to improve their program and beef up the schedule in preparation for the district games. Henry's middle school team is undefeated thus far this season and winning by 40+ a game. This Friday, I'll take Henry in a walk.

Henry wins with class. Running clock to start the 2nd half.

Henry County has no class. 3A

The people who are doing well and you just can't seem to compete with never have any class. If they beat you pretty bad it's always their fault.

Looks like a difficult year for the undermanned Raiders. This should be an easy win for a pretty solid Henry County team.

I think the Jury is still out on Henry County, they should win this game easily. But...being "solid" is yet to be determined.

A reasonable assessment for 90% of the teams this year after only one or two games. Best of luck to both Trimble and Henry, and here's hoping the Raiders can get their numbers up in the coming years....always a tough situation when the numbers are low. Kudos to the staff and players in Bedford for sticking it through this year...and here's hoping the injury bug stays away Bedford!

Beating somebody really bad doesn't effect class. It is when you are taking that oppurtunity to throw the ball when your up 60 to try to run up the score that makes people question Henry County's class.

Henry should win easy

Any specific instance you are referring to?

Talk to me True Blue, how was I misinformed? And to Walter Slobchak, Henry runs a spread offense. You throw the ball if your 60 up or 60 down. It is the style of offense they are using. It's never a coach's job to stop his own team. That job belongs to the guy on the other sideline. You can't tell you kids not to play hard. Somedays you get the bear, somedays the bear gets you. Get your numbers up, practice hard and get better. That's what I was told a long time ago.
