I am pretty confident that Monroe makes it to Region final. I am actually pretty confident Monroe meets Mayfield at semifinals. But I am a superfan and my son is a senior on this squad!!!

Monroe will get to the Region final. If all the planets align they can make a deep run this year. They have yet to have that game where everything clicks. Coaches are still tweaking the positions and schemes....we will see!!!!

If Monroe had all their horses playing I would say North would not win this one. But that's not the case. Even with Monroe sitting 3-4 key players I feel they take this one. North will not put up big numbers on the Falcon defense. Monroe 21 North 14

1-3 North Hardin goes down south to the border county of Monroe. While they are there they should try the BBQ! 2-2 Monroe county will host the much larger school for the first time. North is coming off a loss to juggernaut South Warren while Monroe left one on the field with five turnovers (three in the redzone) to Franklin Simpson. I should say that Monroe has a few guys sitting out this week healing up for the start of district play next week. QB Lincoln Arnett sitting out with minor knee sprain. Offensive lineman Justin Coffelt still out for one more week with slight acl tear. Offensive linemen Nathan ware out for a couple weeks with separated shoulder. Linebacker Trey Whitlock is questionable with bruised lung. All of these young men are crucial to district play and need the break with first game next week and then a by-week.

I agree with both for Monroe. They can't just get by some of these games. They need to dig in and win big to be looked at. The talent seems to be there they just can't seem to find a good rhythm. They did take there penalties from an average of 100 Yards a game to 10 against FS, but now seem to have a turnover problem!!!!

Nice to see Monroe did not fall off the list. They dropped the ball Friday night but are already looking to North Hardin Friday night. Good reading the debates on 1-2...I am glad I don't have to place them!

South very big. FS does not have the air attack needed to beat them.

I like Caldwell in this one. Home field gives them at least 7 IMHO.
