Campbellsville 15 Green County 12

Featured Replies

Eagles grind out a 15-12 win over Green Co to kill the streak. The stadium was packed and chippy.... Already w/out Kendon, the Eagles their starting QB in the second series of the game... Adversity comes in and your forced to fight or fold... Tonight was one heck of a fight. Great work C-Ville... 5-0....

Congratulations to Campbellsville! How long is he out?

What happened to Young and the QB?

Kendon Young - torn ACL, and out for the season. Vonta Cubit, 10th grade QB left the game and did not return. But, like I said, the Eagles owned the adversity and fought like warriors.

Wow...I hate this for these young men.

Really hate hearing that; never like hearing bad news for any of the players, but it's part of the game.

Wow...without Young I thought we would see the same outcome as last year. Kinda shocked Green didn't run away with this one. First GC loss to Cville in a LONG time.

Is green struggling this year? I understand c-vile has a good squad this year, but Green seems to be trying to find a groove...

Green is just very one dimensional. They will live or die on the legs of Matney (QB). Hopefully cville's QB will be ok. After losing Young who would have been all-state IMO and possibly the QB they seem to be snake bit. Hate to see this especially with the start cville is off to.
