In addition to being the PurpleHaze WKY Game of the Week, this is also a DISTRICT BUSTER GAME meaning the district title may be on the line this Friday night. Both teams have great QBs and talent around them. Who wins this game and why?

I think this will be a very tight game. But I think Caldwell County is playing better at the moment and they are at home. I think those 2 things push them over the edge!

Could there be a rematch later in the playoffs?

I like Caldwell in this one. Home field gives them at least 7 IMHO.

For my money, this is the game of the week in Kentucky. Both teams have played well of late. The game is at Caldwell which could make a difference.

Caldwell wins & I think they do it in very convincing fashion.

I think PT has the better quality wins so when the Blue Tornado rolls into Ptown it might be a long night for the tigers...PT by 10pts or more!

Gonna be a heck of a ballgame Friday night. I take my Tigers by a late FG

This is the game of the week for a reason, I've gotta pick the Tigers. Sophomore QB, Shane Burns, seems to be getting better every week and broke 2 Tiger records last week against Henderson Co. If Dee Cain and Shane Burns both have a good night, better watch out because there will be plenty of points on the scoreboard for the Tigers.

Caldwell- 42

PT- 35

CC, What records did Shane Burns break last week?

CC, What records did Shane Burns break last week?

He had 14 straight pass completions for a new record and 34 total pass completions also for a new record. And 2 weeks ago against Crittenden he had the longest pass play in Tiger history with a 90 yard TD pass to Josh Young.

Thats Awesome CC!

I will put that in next weeks edition of the WKY power rankings.:thumb:

I try to spread those accolades around, but Mr Burns makes it hard to overlook him! He has really come on this year!

Burns was 14-for-14 in the first quarter at Henderson County.

Unfortunately, someone on the sideline said out loud that he was 14-for-14, so his next pass was incomplete. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

Burns was on fire. Hope he is this week too.

Should be a good one.

Both teams have big play capabilities.

Score keeper will be active.
