2-1 5a Barren County Trojans travel one county south to 2-1 2a Monroe County. This game has become a bitter rival for these two teams with very bad blood between the schools and players. Barren had their first loss to cross town rival Glasgow last Friday so these boys should be a little scorned... Monroe had there pride destroyed by BowlingGreen in the Raffertys bowl but have rebounded nicely with wins over 4a and 5a programs. I feel the Falcons have too much this year for the Trojans and will bring the pain to them. Monroe 42 Barren 13

Wow that's awesome. Devin Young #13 for Monroe County had 3 also in week 2 against Warren East.

How many per game has an individual player recovered? What is the states record for one game for one player?

THe Falcons were just to much for the Patriots tonight. Our prayers for Allen County community tonight. #6 for Allen, his family member went into cardiac arrest at game. As far as I know he is doing well thanks To a very quick thinking nurse in the stands. God made Nurses to watch out for us!!!!!

I understand where you are coming from, I feel the same way. I did not know him personally. He recruited my son from the Border bowl. After a year and a half my son was ready to be done with Football. He lost the love to play under Dudley. It may have been that way at any college but he really has a disdain for him. He has never said why but I have to believe it was Dudleys character.

My son played for Dudley at Pikeville and he said he would never make it in college because he was way to one dimensional. He is about as undeserving a good rep as he can be......no one at Pikeville liked him at all!!!!

I have seen them both. Greenwood will not score on South. Their defense will swarm the Gators. South will win this one big... South Warren 45 Greenwood 0. (Maybe a field goal...their kicker is really good if they can get close enough)

Rankings are just rankings.....2a is stacked with some very good talented teams this year. The ones just outside the top ten could be ranked very good come week 9. If not the playoffs will show who deserved the rank and who didn't. I personally am ok with the top ten. If you earn, you should be there....Monroe will be fine. And Warren East is horrible this year. Not sure what is going on in east!!!!!

Purples are solid at every defensive position two deep. They are very well coached and execute their individual assignments almost perfectly. It's a one of a kind team. I am picking the Purples 21. Not knocking X at all...really good program as well but BG is just that GOOD!!!

Please tell me your sarcasm is awesome! Monroe beat them 35-0 in a scrimmage the week before opening night. Then Bg handed Monroe their butts on a platter! So if you are not kidding I will say with a convincing NO.... Not a chance😜

South is strong! I am looking forward to see how they handle some teams this year...they are a defensive nightmare for most teams in the state. They are just that good this year!

I am a little surprised by the score....

Monroe has a solid defensive core. Only weekness we can see is one lineman not giving 100% every play. Its concerning to the players why he is still starting. I guess the coaches are seeing something everyone else isn't. If the players are riding him and he is not performing its up to the coaches to make the changes. Offense will be running on all cylinders by district and playoffs. We have Allen county next week. Should bee another good game for the Falcons. They started with 5a BG, then 4a warren east, and next week is 4a Allen. Go roe go!!!!

Good game for the Falcons. The penalties are a little concerning. But none the less....good win Big shout out to #13 Young for three fumble recoveries and defensive player of the game. And #2 Arnett for offensive player of the game. Had a wonderful night in the air for Monroe.
