South Warren 42 Apollo 6

Featured Replies

South struck fast in the first quarter and kept rolling spreading the TD's around to multiple people. Running clock with about 3 minutes to go before half and the game was over. Lot of rest for a lot of people. McElwain was limited tonight and Namvong didn't play a down. South scored by passing, running and Defense.

Very convincing! Looking forward to the Central Hardin game for the Spartans!

The score to this game was 42-0 with about 3 mins to go before halftime. All starters were pulled at that point and by the 4th South was playing with their Freshman 3rd string QB. Things are setting up nicely for a great game between SW and Central Hardin!

South is strong! I am looking forward to see how they handle some teams this year...they are a defensive nightmare for most teams in the state. They are just that good this year!

It's Apollo

I think this is about what most people expected. South Warren is a powerhouse in 4A and Apollo is a program trying to pick itself back up after a rough 5 year run. The Eagles should put this one behind them quickly and focus on the next few weeks. They have winnable games in Logan Co and Butler Co coming up. If they could win those, they will eclipse the win totals from the past 5 seasons.

Central Hardin vs South Warren should be a good one. Central had an incredible rushing attack between Darious Barbour and Xavier Arnette combined for 437 rushing yards and some incredible runs against the #3 class 3A Paducah Tilghman Tornadoes.
