  1. I agree, a win is a win regardless who it's over. To say that Todd County was 0-11 last season is like saying that Fort Campbell was 15-0 last year, it has no bearing on what happened last night. The Falcons played good football, I won't say that it was mistake free, but it was good Falcons football and it was good to see them get that win. Later.
  2. Hope it's done for Friday's Homecoming Festivities.......we usually have the Vette Club drivin' the court around the track. Later.
  3. Pretty sure that's not gonna happen yet.....there should still be some strength tests and such that have to be done before he can even practice with the team. Later.
  4. Fort Campbell wins this one, not so 'hands down' as my good friend FalconBacker would like.....but our Falcons will still walk off of that field winners! Later.
  5. Monroe wins this one...keeping the streak alive! Later.
  6. I listened on the internet in the comfort of my room in AFG, but it was a classic game. Later.
  7. Great article written by SI.Com's Andy Staples. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/andy_staples/09/15/fort.campbell.military.children/index.html Later.
  8. I'm not voting against my Falcons....but they really need to get it together. Later.
  9. FYI: The coaches that left the Falcons were Todd Hood (took the head coaching job at Clarksville Academy) and Mike Marciano (took an assistant coach position at Clarksville Academy). Later.
  10. Congrats to the Monroe County Falcons! Later.
  11. FB, you constantly take the words out of my mouth, I wish there was a "ditto" button. This FC team was dominating in the first half. It would have been better had they gotten one more score in before, but they couldn't get it in. First half Falcons bore some resemblence to the team that went 15-0 and captured a third straight state title last year, secon half Blue Tornadoes looked a lot like the defending 3A state champs.....the Falcons just couldn't get it done. It seemed that the running game was almost abandoned in the second half, relying on a struggling QB that is doing his best to hit receivers that may, or may not, be running the right routes. From a fans perspective it was extremely difficult to watch these boys go through this......but they need to get off of their laurels (heck, if you can rest on your laurels, they must be snoozing on 'em) and play some football. Later.
  12. You're absolutely correct sir! Way to go Eagles! Later.
  13. I don't think it'll be like last season, with the Falcons scoring 21 points in the first 60 seconds of the game.....and I think it'll be a fight, but I believe that the Falcons can win this one. Later.
  14. The defending 2A state champs travel to meet the defending 3A state champs this week, who will win and why? Later.
  15. It was an ugly win for the Falcons, but a win is a win, and I am happy to see the Falcons get the W. Both teams were drastically different than last year's squads...... Later.
  16. I agree with ThrillVille Cardinal51, I don't agree with "backing off". I know it's a tough pill to swallow, to get beat that badly. But if the dominating team puts in their 2nd/3rd stringers and are still scoring......oh well. That's what they're supposed to do, score touchdowns. How else are they (2nd/3rd stringers) really going to get a grasp on things if they play their best? Fort Campbell was accused of running up the score last season on more than one occasion.....but it was bench players that were in there and they needed the playing time. The running clock helps out a lot. Later.
  17. Play for the name....that's good stuff, but I think it's fine the way it is. After all this time, calling the Falcons something different would sound funny. Like changing the name of the fork or something. Go Falcons!
  18. I'm goin' with the Falcons. I think they really need this game and will come out on top. Later.
  19. Who wins this years Army Bowl and why? Later.
  20. Congratulations Monroe County! Later.
