  1. This is one of the greatest mysteries known to man :lol2:
  2. In 2013-14 they lost in the 8th championship game in OT to South Oldham
  3. Very interesting signing. Browns are trying to surround Mayfield with some weapons. I do not blame them for trying to help out their young QB/offense. I like the direction the Browns are going. Should be a fun team to watch in the future. Kareem Hunt signs with Browns
  4. The worst for me was the Andy Warhol Burger King commercial. I didn't get it. :idunno:
  5. He is my least favorite these days too. The burner accounts started it off and now his other antics have cemented it to me. I hate his fake tough attitude these days when he is playing. I believe he was all of a sudden a leader in the NBA in technicals last year after winning a title. To me, it was to try and come across as tough since everyone spent the last year calling him soft for joining team that beat him, easy route to title, burner accounts, etc.
  6. I got to go to Scottsdale and vend with MJ and I wanted to emphasize how much fun hole #16 is at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. If you like golf, it should definitely be on your bucket list to experience it atleast once. It was a blast to be in the atmosphere. It didn't hurt that I got to make money in the process. I am looking forward to going back in the future.
  7. If you can still get in on this I would be interested.
  8. I just re-watched Battle of the Bastards and Dragonstone last weekend. Both of those are my favorites. My favorite character is Tyrion Lannester handsdown. His evolution over the series is awesome. He goes from being just a drunk to saving Westeros from invasion to immediately being out of favor then eventually becoming the hand to the Dragon Queen. Second for me is Arya Stark. I have really enjoyed her character growth over the seasons.
  9. How many of you out there are still alive/in championships this week? I made it to the championship this week in a money league I care a lot about. My dilemma is which RBs to use. I'm going to use three and my options are: Mack vs Giants Henry vs Washington Cook @ Detroit Fournette @ Miami Edwards @ Chargers Last week I was lucky because I left over 50 points between these guys on my bench and I don't want to make that mistake again. As of now I am leaning towards the top three I listed. The Jags offense is so bad that it makes it hard for me to justify playing Fournette.
  10. Playing Jackson worked out in my eyes. I'll take 14 points out of my flex position any week.
  11. There is suppose to be a fine. I have noticed over the last year or so there are a number of teams that do not report or do not report in a timely fashion.
  12. I need to pick two RBs and I am debating between: Gus Edwards (vs TB) Marlon Mack (vs Dal) Delvin Cook (vs Mia) Justin Jackson (@ KC) If the Chargers RBs are injured, I am leaning Jackson and Cook. If either Gordon or Ekeler play then I am leaning Edwards just beacause Mack plays Dal. Thoughts?
  13. I am still shocked at just how bad their defense is this year. I thought coming into this year they would be the strength of the team led by their D-line. Oh how wrong I was. :bag:
  14. I agree about the ending rushed. Like @UKMustangFan said, look up the Swedish version, it's much better. You could also check out the books. I've read the original three and they are solid.
  15. To me that is comparing apples to oranges. As my last post mentioned talent plays a pretty large role. Those teams had some major talent recently. I do not know anything about the baseball or softball, so I cannot comment on those. However, their football team was very good recently because they had two Mr. Football finalists. They had Morgan who is starting for Minnesota and they had a running back (his name escapes me right now). The girls team has two Miss Basketball contenders right now. Rankin is a solid player, but I do not believe he will be in the Mr. Basketball running at the end of the year and I do not think there is a possible Mr. Basketball contender roaming the halls of Ryle who quit so like I said, apples to oranges. This thread is about all the preseason top 10 teams and players, so we should probably get back to that topic and discuss Ryle in its own thread. I haven’t seen many teams schedules yet this year. Are there any early top 10 match-ups we should be marking on our calendars?
  16. Sometime I just do not understand the Ryle discord on this site. I understand they haven't had the most stellar record in the past 5 years but, I brought this up in another discussion, they haven't had the horses to complete against a big school schedule. I believe they have only had one all-region player in that span (Rankin) and it was just last year. It is hard to win consitantly at any level when you do not have a certain level of talent. If anything, it could be argued they have over achieved in some areas. I know they made the regional tournament last year after beating a Boone team in districts that had a lot more talent and was ranked #3 or #4 in the region at the time. The 33rd district is very tough to get out of lately and I dont know how many other times in the last 5 years they have made the regional tournament but I think it is atleast 2 or 3. Based on the record the previous poster listed for Ryle, it would seem to me they play pretty well towards the end of the season.
  17. It is probably based on the fact Ryle has only had 1 all-region player in the last 5 years (Rankin). It not like they have been rolling out region player after region player without getting results.
  18. Reds hire former infielder David Bell Reds fans, like it?
  19. Ryle struggles continue. Congrats to the Cougars on the district win.
  20. He left Bellarmine very early in the fall semester last year. He is now at Sinclair Community College.
  21. Next two games for the Bengals were going to be tough with Mixon. At least it is just a minor procedure. Mixon out 2 weeks
