Much talk of the NCC frontcourt being too tall for Holmes in the game from the BOKC.

So lets list all the "bigs" in NKY history. Maybe we can determine the tallest from each school.

I'll start:

Ryle: Justin Doellman 6'9"

Highlands: Muntis 6'10"

Brossart: Can't remember the name but didn't they have a nearly 7 footer?

Latin: Brian O'Conner 6'9"

My Dad said that the NewCath team of '66 had a 7 footer? Can someone verify that?

Wouldn't that be Dave Cowens of Boston Celtics Fame he's referring to? He wasn't 7' though

Cowens at 6'8" was the leading rebounder on the 66 team. Not sure who a 7 footer would be. Must not have played much.

Mayes kid I believe is only 7 footer NKY has had... Rhoden I believe grew to 7 feet after he graduated from Brossart. Had a buddy that tried to help him with some workouts and get him a chance to play in junior college, but it didn't work out.

Tim Volpenhein from Holy Cross was listed at 7 feet when he played at Eastern Kentucky, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't that big in high school (close)...

I thought he played for Lindsey Wilson or some other school last year.
