Tallest Players in NKY History?

Featured Replies

Who was the big kid from Scott that only played I think his sophomore season back in the early 90s???

Matrica was 6'6 but I don't think they have had anyone over 6'7.

Good job on that one.

How tall was Clark at Holy Cross? 6'7" maybe. When HC won the region in 72 who was their center?

Lloyd had a good big man maybe 10-15 years ago that was a good offensive player?

Haynes is only 6'5 in am very good friends with him.

Then it has to be someone else. The guy I'm thinking of played one year and then fell off the map with some personal issues...

Walker played for CovCath he was 6'8?

They had Matrica, Cavalry transfer Miller 6'6 and some other kid might have been 6'8.

Bellevue had a 6'10" kid around 1986/87 don't know his name though

Brett Babin, the white Manute Bol.

Mike Vieth could be 7'0''. St. Henry had a pretty tall team while he was there, and very few of them even played (as I recall).

Stephen Mayes - Dixie 2003 - "Footer" - He was 7'0''. I think he played college ball at a Christian School somewhere in Northern Ohio.

Michael Vieth - St. Henry - early to mid 90's - played at NKU - if he's not 7'0'' he's close.

Jaime Eichorst - played at St. Henry with Vieth. Don't know exactly how tall he was, but he was a big boy.

Holy Cross had a guy that deserves some mention - I think it was a Volpenhein.

There was a kid that played for Bellevue in 86-88' ish that was 6'11", I do not remember his name, he had a very thin build. Any Tiger historians help out?
