Wow...did I strike a nerve with a few people. There is no ax in my garage so THS, you should think otherwise. Maybe my view on the NFL films may be different than others, which is no big deal. If you knew neither of these coaches, you may walk away with the same opinion. As 17 Time qouted, Trinity Football is about winning. End of story.

Very well done. Gave both schools nice exposure. One thing I came away with this production was Glaser is all about the players and Beatty is all about the win. They showed some tailgating going on. X's running back parents where out in the parking lot enjoying themselves.

Are you crazy, Coverdale should be in the Pros as an Offensive Coordinator. He is a great coach.

Slow down on "great coach". I would say he is a good and dedicated coach, but not great. Regular season games vs X, no adjustments at all made. Regular season facts do support this position. But, if all that matters is the Ring, than he's a great coach.

Well, you are correct, '04 had some issues in the playoffs which didn't really help the defense. Bean is not like Coach K, Coach K always made great adjustments at halftime which totally shut teams down in the second half. Bean, well his record speaks for itself, but the second half defense is always the same. Rocks will be okay, as long as Coverdale makes the call....

You have little faith is Coach Coverdale. He is a master mind of the game and will find a way to beat X, even with the lack of experience on the OL. The bigger question is, can Bean find a way for his defense to stop the run!

By all means, no one in KY comes close to Deuce. You can talk about all the updates you want, but Deuce by far should win..

Fern Creek by 14. FC is quick and can pass. IMHO FC QB is one of the the best passers in KY, so Ryle may have some difficulty. Throw last years score out the window, FC has matured over last year.

Congrats to X, they deserved the win. So much for Beatty not taking a loss in the month of October. Rocks will rebound and will face X again in the semi. Won't be surprised the the OL changes alittle.

Oh but they did, JV game two years ago. Remember, juniors play JV ball at Trinity.

Why would you ask this question, it's a freshman game. The game was total opposite from last years freshman game. T looked awesome on both sides of the ball and X looked like a middle school team. Future looks good for the rocks.

After reading two good articles on Whiting and the Brutchers triplets, I think this game will come down to desire. Who wants it the most? Trinity gets my pick just because it's been a long time not beating X during regular season. But, on the flip side, this may not bold well come the playoffs for the Rocks. Rocks by 14 points

Trinity in a blow out against Eastern. Here we go again, "best Trinity defense of all time". Cannot believe someone would say this again. This years D is good, but no where near "all time". Back in the 70's, there was Joe Barrito who was a safety who would clean your clock. Joe would be a middle linebacker on this years team. This years DE's has to hit people from back side or with shoulder to tackle because haven't seen them wrap up. DL is solid, but they should be, they played alot last year. Haven't seen a true interception where the DB is breaking on the pass. Next week will be another test for the Rocks.

It should, they make some nasty good chili. As for the game, we will really see what the 2008 Rocks can do on a dry field against a team with equal or greater talent. Defensive line should hold their hold, but the secondary will be tested. Game this big for the OL at Papa Johns should be interesting, but will prepare them for the other X game in a few weeks (which really matters).

Have you not been to the first two games?

I'm a Rock fan, but there are alot of unknowns for this years team. Is the defense much improved over last year? This remains to be seen until the Rocks play some quality teams. The BG team is a good team, but not like they were last year. As for the Rocks offense, will the young OL make and stay with the block? Cincy X is like Lou X and T, they do not rebuild, they reload. So, with this being said, I look for a very close game. Now, as for the student section, Cincy X has it over T's student section, bar none.
