  1. How about Code from Brossart? The Cov Cath principal coached with Code for years at Brossart.
  2. Great decision by Coach Russell to press the Mustangs. It gave them fits all night and they looked worn down at the end. May have been why the free throws were missed by the Stangs.
  3. Why do you call a timeout with 6 seconds and down 13? I don't know of any 13 point plays.
  4. How many threes did the Camels hit on the night? I know Pendleton made it closer in the last few minutes when their starters were playing against the Camel subs. Monroe is the real deal as is McGovney.
  5. Great outside shooting by the Camels and McGovney had a great second half. Beating the Wildcats at Pendleton Co. is no easy task.
  6. Lady Camels were 16 of 32 from the free throw line, that won't win you many games. I'm sure they will bounce back after this first loss. They are going to be a factor in the regional this year. Where is it played?
  7. You should call the game into Riherds, they have the teams reversed with Cov Cath winning by the score.
  8. yep a real high scoring affair it had to be exciting.
  9. The officiating did not cost Holmes the game. Three times they had the ball at the end of the first, second and third quarters and held it until less than 6 seconds to go before trying to score. That's not going to work, I don't care who the referees are. The one that was called by their last name is not a CCHS grad. Holmes certainly had plenty of free throws to put the game away when nearly all the calls were going their way. It was a great win for the Camels. The Bulldogs don't lose too many in Covington. If a team is hitting from the outside the way the Camels were, why did Holmes play zone for so much of the game. McGovney was big time in the first half and Losey got hot at the end. Josh Graff played a good game as well for the Camels.
  10. The only undefeated team in the state are the Lady Camels of Campbell County.
  11. Good game for the Camels. I think Losey had 18, McGovney 17 and Graff 16.:ylsuper:
  12. Great job Coach Cravens!! Girls, the press was awesome tonight. Keep it going!!!!
  13. I believe interviews are to start this week. No names though.
  14. Is the Kenton County Classic still on and if so where are the games being played and who is in it? I saw it on the state schedule for some teams, Ashland, Montgomery Co., Beechwood etc but have heard nothing about it? Thanks for the help.
  15. I think Losey had 25 and McGovney 20, the Camels had great ball movement in the first half, and as stated above, had hit their foul shots earlier in the game it wouldn't have been this close. They did hit them at the end when they needed to. So much fun to watch them get up and down the floor, keep it going boys!!
  16. Great game!! Fun to watch the Camels get out and move the ball up and down the court. Some of the defense may have been a carryover but two of the Camels starters didn't play basketball last year for a reason. The boys love to move the ball up and down the floor and play offense with a purpose. I was at the game and listened to the replay after. Great job Mustang as usual. One point, I liked when during the broadcast, Mustang, when a Brossart player fouled a Camel, he said, that was a good foul, if your going to foul make sure they don't get the shot off, but on his website he has a picture of a Camel, making sure the Brossart player doesnt get the shot off and he wanted an intentional foul called. I love your school spirit Mustang, keep up the good work and your most definitely right when you said it was a classic last night and will be talked about for a long time.:ylsuper::ylsuper:
  17. Lady Camels go to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the district. Great start Ladies!!:dancingpa
  18. Simon Kenton is 56-55 over the last ten seasons coming into this one. Hardly a powerhouse in Kentucky High School Football:laugh:
  19. Cov. Cath. 42-14 with nine minutes to go in the 4th quarter.
  20. He is a social studies teacher and he's looking for a teaching position as well.
  21. Gross was an assistant at CCHS during the Sullivan years.
