Miller did hit a shot and Farris as well, the base runner who was picked off for the Tigers, Pickett(sp), really hurt the Tigers.

I was shocked too, 91 is impressive, but yes I thought Roenker was more of an off speed guy.

I think Kowolonek will struggle with being the main focus of the defense for the first half of the year. He got a lot of offensive rebounds and I believe teams will stop that this season. That being said, I think he will average about 12 or 13 PPG.

I sat behind a Reds scout and he was clocking the two pitchers, Elliot came in at 89MPH and HC pitcher was at 91. I would have to say that hitting 91MPH as a sophomore is impressive, but his defense let him down a little bit. Elliot played extremely well today watch out, the Tigers could be making their run.
