Pull up my post where I said Highlands is better than BG in 2011. You won't find find it because I have made no such claim . Back to Boyle and HHS 09. Highlands D1 QB (Bardo) had a season ending injury and missed most of the season. His replacement was (you may have heard of him) Patrick Towles. Patrick had no varsity experience at that time and he wasn't 6'6 and 230 lbs at that time either .

I don't know , so you tell me. Was Boyle nationally ranked in 09 ? If so, where ? Nothing hypothetical about it, Birds were ranked #3 and beat the #16 ranked Cincinnati X. What was Boyles signature win in 09 ? Back to the thread , BG # 2 , who cares ?

A lot of people want to see Trinity ( approx 1500 boys and private ) vs Highlands ( approx 400 boys and public ). So IC with( approx 600 boys and private) vs Highlands ( approx 400 boys and public ), seems to me the latter would be the best choice ,but that is strickly my opinion.

I didn't realize that Indiana 4A enrollment was that much different than Ky 4A . As for the mirror image thing , I was talking about winning tradition and large fan base and excellent programs . Thanks for the info.

4A Highlands vs. 4A Indy Cathedral ,virtually mirror images of each other . Both 2011 state champs !

I don't see anybody bragging , Just stating their opinion , no harm done. When was the last time BG played Elder , or for that matter Cincy X ? While I'm at it , did they ever srimmage Trinity ? HHS starting QB played one series in the Elder game due to injury. As far as the state title games go , Highlands was playing a much better team than what BG was playing !

...........and BG wants Trinity , according to the IHIGH announcers ! :idunno:

KHSAA .org is going to have all games live for the first time. Remember we are on eastern time zone and BG is in the central time zone , so the 3pm games will actually start at 4pm Cincinnati time, Per haps someone can post the link to make it easier for you.

You say your a Trinity fan but I'm having a hard time believing it. Trinity fans have class and don't project themselves the way that you are. I guess if your an X grad , you decided to join them (T), because you couldn't beat them. Nobody has said anything but good things about T their coaches , players program . etc. etc. etc. The Highlands fans and program have given nothing but compliments to the T program and have rooted for them all year with that brutal schedule. Then somebody like you wants to come on here and talk trash about players and programs. Have you ever met Patrick Towles ? Have you seen him play ? Have you seen him in film , or do you just watch a play or two on the news while sitting in your recliner ? Patrick is a great QB and so is Wright , they both are great there is no reason to bash one QB while bragging on the other. What's up with that ? You having a bad day so your taking it out on a high school kid that you 've never met ? If you hate Highlands you can join the rest but , don't put your hatred on one kid . While we on the topic of QB's there is another one in NKY that is D1 , are you goig to bash him next ? High school kids and players read these message boards too. We want to encourage them and keep them motivated , not only in football , but the rest of their lives after football! No QB has any input on the schedule for the season or how many qtrs that they are going to play ,they have to do what the coaches say. Just to let you know because you are obviously ignorant , Towles has only played 2 qtrs in all but 3 games including the playoffs. Down the road when Wright gets his D1 offers he will get nothing but accolades from the Blue bird faithful I'm sure. I want to appologize to everyone for thread jacking , it takes a lot to get me fired up , and this was the match that lit the fuse. I'm sure the T faithful cringe every time they read your posts ! Now back to the thread , I hope both teams come out injury free, and I'm sure both teams will play to the end . Safe travels to all.

If your trying to be "cute or smart " your neither ! I haven't had to look at a map lately , but I'm pretty sure that Ft. Thomas and Louisville are not in Indiana . Try looking at my username and try to figure out where I'm coming from . As far as being a senior citizen , I don't know what your definition of a senior citizen is. So my trip might take four and a half hours , my suggestion is don't get behind me on the way to BG ! As far as hustling , I used to do that when I was younger , but I haven't picked up a pool stick in years !
