Saw this on Twitter yesterday. I of course had to give a little ReTweet action to it.

I have a hard time seeing him and his coaching style as an assistant though.

I am a little surprised by this. It was my understanding Beatty didn't want anything to do with coaching in the KY/TN Allstar game and his reason was it would take time away from his program.

Maybe. But when is each game played?

Congrats Coach Beatty!!!

This game will be played in early January before the 2012 Rocks begin preparing for that season.

G - I think he may have some open time around Jan. 7th. Should the Rock's prevail Friday night - they may get to go home to enjoy the Holidays. :D

Congrats to the Coach. Well deserved.

Im just tossing this out there, and could be completely off on this, but...

How does the coaching selection work? Do you need to be an assistant on the team before you can be a head coach? Reason I ask is because he very well have a couple guys on that team next year. He could be positioning himself for the head gig next season. Thoughts?

jcvd you are correct in most cases with FBU and this Event they prefer to bring a coach as an assistant for a year or two before they are a head coach of a team.

Very proud for Coach Beatty

Congrats to Coach B. You make the state of KY proud. Great Job:thumb:
