How many starters for LC play both ways and/or special teams ?

Wow , what a compliment !! The Rocks have a great program , but this year they are extra special. We don't hear everything that is going on , or being said in the Ville , just like you don't know what's going on or being said about Highlands here in Northern Ky. One thing I'm pretty sure of , is they aren't ready to throw Highlands football team out of the state. Enjoy the success of your team , we all know what it takes to get there , and sooner or later your opponents will figure it out . :thumb:

HHS is such a big magnet school they got their head coach (Dale Mueller ) , from Sycamore High School in Cincinnati !!

They were interviewing PT before the game . He was as humble as a person could be . They asked PT about going to UK and said he is going there for sure . They asked him about the O and he had nothing but high praise for his recievers and was sorry that Sheehan couldn't play. They asked about his grand father , Jim Bunning and how Pat grew up watching him. This young man is polite and down to earth as they come , and one of the best high school QB"s that I have ever seen. UK is very fortunate to have landed this outstanding young man and QB!!

Jac Collinsworth and all the Birds recievers know what to do on pass plays that break down , they have an NFL pro teaching them .

Great game Birds !! In the prediction thread the question was asked "how does Gabe Gray compare to JJ Jude and other RB's" ? Well up until tonight Gray was averaging about 150 yards per game , but it looked like CCH didn't want him to carry the ball. Why not ? There was nobody at the game yelling about HHS missing tackles. The D tonight was impressive just like the Elder and JC game. The O looked great to go along with the D . Highlands coaches once again showed their knowledge of the game !! The coaching staff is awesome !! Great to see the rivalry is back . !!

Got it :thumb: (I hope I don't have to yell anything ) If you don't hear the train wrecks , that means there are a lot of arm tackles are being made ,and that's not good.

Highlands fans won't have to complain if they tackle like they did in the Elder and JC game. I don't recall JJ Jude breaking that many tackles . The big 230 lb RB from Elder didn't break that many tackles either. If the Birds play D like they did in those two games , it won't be close. Is Gabe Gray a better RB than the two previously mentioned ? We shall see. Last week Drake Bruns made a lot of tackles , so , IMO the safety making a lot of tackles is not a good sign. Highlands LB'ers will have to play well and make some tackles . I also know JC only threw the ball three times , so Drake Bruns was defending the run game of JC. Should be a great game with a great atmosphere at the fort !!! Go Birds !!!!!!

Back in '09, CBS College Sports Network reported that they were around 2000 over capacity. You might want to ask some of the Seniors on the '09 team if that X game counted. Maybe if not, the biggest win for the Birds ever. Both teams were undefeated and ranked in the top twenty in the nation. Yes, this is another huge game, of course, it's Cov-Cath!! Go Birds!!!

I disagree , neither team played perfectly in the first matchup and it was a very close game until the end . How can you convince me that this matchup will be that much different than the last time these two met . For those that are predicting a 3 to 4 td difference in the final score , should cut back on the cool-ade !

Don't be surprised if you don't hear about injuries , nobody is talking for obvious reasons .

Hmmmmmmmmm 84 points and not one accusation about running up the score ? What's up with that ? Did Conner have their 1st team in the whole game ? After all , Highlands hangs 60 on somebody with the third team playing ,in the second quarter and people are going crazy. Nice win for the Cougars !!!!
